Licquid and poison sign

Hi just started vaping and just wanted to know why some licquids have warning saying fatal if you get it in your mouth or on your hands ?

One bottle i just got has the poison sign on it

I've been vaping for over 7 years & often got e-liquid on hands & in my mouth - with no ill effects.

If e-juice was fatal when it gets in our mouths or on our hands, we would all be dead.
I expect the poison warning is appropriate, however, because flavored nicotine juice would be toxic if a child decided to drink a bottle of juice.
