What ohm coils are you trying to use on a Provari 2.5? The 2.5 will want a button top battery and a 1+ ohm coil.

I'm a tootle that still uses 1.8s and such, I'm sure that I ordered the higher resistance option, which IIRC is 1.5, at least on the Tritons. And yes, button tops. I posed the same question here a few months ago, and someone told me that I had to use a drill and a dremel tool and .... TL;SR.

The 2.5 has a fixed 510. Which means the atties may not be making contact.

I have used the Triton mini and Nautilus X on my 2.5's with 1.8 coils. I don't have the ones you mentioned. If the 2.5 wouldn't fire, I would try it on another mod that will give you the resistance reading. I have run into factory coils that were below the stated ohms or read zero. I figured the zeros had a broken wire.

Yeah... But the Provari's especially the Procyon look...so darn slick.

The dicodes comes close in the looks department but... It's just not as slick.
Sure it check's the minimal box but... it feels like it's just a tube. That's what the looks of that Dicodes makes me think of, "It's just a tube." Obviously it's not. Obviously the thing performs great and all. What I'm trying to say is it's bordering on bland. It has no details.

The Procyon is so minimal—with mind you—just the right amount of third read details. Those little greek accents around the top and bottom...Just right.
The looks of the Procyon, as far as I'm concerned are just, well, perfect.

Keep in mind. I don't own one. I'd like a stealth one. Im not sure how much I'll like that end cap thingy.
Regardless, It's the most timeless mod I've ever seen.

I don't think you'll find a Procyon stealth. There are a few places that had some left but you have to hunt around for them and a lot are in Malaysia it seems. As for the cap, it's no different in use from any other provari cap.

I personally used a Provari for about a year and a half and loved it while I did. I then upgraded to DNA devices and have never looked back. This isn't to discredit the Provari at all, but I've received the same quality for a much lower price (when they were open still). The only issue is you buy the DNA devices through mod creators that use the chip in their own mod. That means warranty issues aren't as comforting as Provape offered. I've yet to have any issues though.

Currently using the Therion 166 and have been for about 6 months. No wear whatsoever on the leather or coating.

Hey thanks for the tip. Do you have one—any Procyon that is?

I was after a p3 on ebay but they all got sold, they have a 2.5 on there for £150. In dollars about $130 but I have no money for 2 weeks. Provaris look so good for my tootle puffing mtl an would last so much longer than any other cheap mod I've had.
Where else can I get one??
If you want a Provari, and have a paypal account, you really should consider getting verified so you can watch the classifieds here. Not everyone will do an international shipment, but if you are honest from the beginning about being willing to pay the extra for international, you might get a seller to work with you. I would estimate that first class international US to UK would be about $25.00 US, but haven't tried to put a package together and calculate. You would have your own taxes on top of that. The forms and postage can all be done on-line with USPS in case someone is interested in testing the waters.

I want the wismec dna 250 but you cannot use them straight out of box right? Not a problem at all, just double checking...

Just something to be aware of with Wismec DNAs. On prior Wismec DNA 200 mods, you got a DNA board, and you had the Evolv warranty on the board, but you paid "full price" and gotthe crappy 510 and cheap internal wiring like on their RX200 series. Lots of excellent DNA 250 mods out there for he same price, but better build quality.

I will give you that the case itself looks really cool. They did a good job on that.

I don't know that shipping would be an issue for you, but international can be scary and complicated for the first few times the shipper does it. I have a friend in the UK that I exchange gifts with, and even though I've sent her things many times, I have to deal with the sticker shock of how much more it costs to ship and dealing with the Customs forms. Something I could send domestic for $7.00 will jump to $25.00 to the UK.

The 510 has never been an issue for me with wismec mods, I'm sick of people moaning about it!
