Hoping i put this in the right section.

Do the cartos/atomizers last as long as the atomizer heads in the clearos. Trying to figure out money wise what is best and which have the longest life. I have clearos I can change heads out when they give out like the vivi nova etc... I have been using the same head in one of my vivis now for three weeks or so now with some thicker juices and it is rocking.
This may be a stupid question as well but do all cartos have the fill material in it. Trying to learn still and wanting the best flavors and I hear the cartos are pretty awesome when it comes to taste.

Yep! Cartos have filler material in them. How are you planning on using cartos? Alone or in a tank? Mines have been lasting anywhere from 5 days to 2 weeks in a tank. It depends on what juice I have in them though. And unlike the vivas you don't have to clean them. Just fill up your tank & go.

I only use cartos (no tank). I have maybe 200 of them. I usually have 5-6 or so in active service, either filled or waiting to be refilled. I use them until they start drawing hard etc, then put them in a baggie to await cleaning. I refill them probably 20 times give or take. When I get 50 or so needing cleaning, I go thru my cleaning process (so cleaning is about every month or two). Mostly they are just as good after cleaning. I think I have only trashed 2-3 cartos in 7 months.

So do you just clean them like you do clearos.....run the carto under hot water and let dry?

99.9% of all cartos have filler in them; the only exception is the CE2 carto which is a wick and coil in the shape of a carto. Cartos have a nice flavor to them, BUT there is a catch. The balance between perfect saturation and dryness is a narrow road. They are not the ticket to vaping nirvana unless you baby them.

Cleaning them is not recommended, they are disposable. If you accidentally toast the inner wall between the heating element and the filler you must throw it away, for it has died and gone to heaven.

Lots of people clean carts I did for awhile but just buy more now. Boil them for a few let them cool blow them out and oven dry them for 30 min in about 190 if you dont oven dry the you will get a funky taste. If you master a carto tank ( its not really to tough) It blows any clearo away Ive tried in both flavor and Vapor. Im not Sure witch is nastier a string hit from a clearo or a foam hit from a carto both suck pretty bad.
Avid Vapor has the AMP tank herd mostly good things its a atomizer tank. I have one on the way but have not used it yet to say one way or the other.
Nhaler also has the reactor atty tank its ok but not all of that IMO

Once properly set-up a carto tank will keep the carto in ideal conditions longer without refilling: no flooding and never so little juice that the carto will burn. I don't use a carto tank because I put a high priority on having a small, 1050 mAh APV that fits comfortably in my jeans pocket. Using a XL carto alone works best for me. I'll either carry a small 15 ml drip bottle along to top off the carto every 90 minutes or so or pack extra filled and capped cartos.

And unlike the vivas you don't...

... get dry hits, even if your attention span is shorter than your...!!!

After trying most of the clearos available, I've yet to find one that I would reorder...

BTW, I despise dry hits!!!

You can also power flush cartos like the boges with a large syringe with a pencil grip attached, draw up hot water and flush it a few times. I let them finish drying overnite.

For anyone who thinks they can revive a burnt cartomizer, PBusardo just added this vid to his reviews, it's primarily on carto punches, but check it out at the 23:17 mark where he shows what happens to a boge carto when you don't have your filler fully saturated, tank or no tank ;)

I think the realm of cartos gets confusing when CE's are included. To me they are more of a clearo. They don't have filling and really are a clear cylinder with top or bottom or both coil. These are my preference. They last well, vape great, cheap and easy to use. I get most of mine from S.I. and much prefer them to the clearo's. In fact have been so disappointed with the clearos I have tried so far, haven't even cracked open the Kanger T. I find the smaller CE's retain the full flavour much better and to me they are the cheapest and the best. Have also been happy with Phoenix top and bottom coil CE's from Got Vapes. A lot is personal tastes and these are mine. Good luck with yours and enjoy your vaping.
