Hello All, First I'd like to say a huge thanks to everyone that has contributed to this forum, it has proved invaluable in my first month of making the switch from analogs.
I was a 1 - 1 1/2 pack a day Marlboro Lights smoker for the past 15 years or so, and had failed at quitting a couple times, but hadn't made in attempt in the last 7 or 8 years because tomorrow is always a better day to quit.
I've really wanted to quit for the past few years, but wasn't ready (at least I wasn't prepared) to take the plunge. About 4 weeks ago I got my first e-cig, a 901, more as an experiment than anything else. When it arrived I started using it and the next thing I knew it had been 4 hours since I'd gone out in the cold for a cig. I was impressed with how the craving had been cut immensely right off the bat, and with no experience using these little gadgets. On day 2 I smoked only 5 analogs, and maintained that for a few days until my 510 arrived. The 510 and TW Marlboro liquid helped me cut to 2 a day, and after a day or two of 1 a day I tossed the analogs and haven't looked back. That was 22 days ago so I'm obviously not out of the woods, but I'm feeling pretty good about it and seem to have more energy as well.
There were definitely some growing pains while I learned to get the most from the 901 and 510, and the analog withdrawal and/or over and under vaping during the first few days of zero a day got pretty hairy and honestly physically painful (little demon in my chest squeezing my heart!) This all passed fairly quickly and I'm aiming never to smoke a cancer stick again.
I got a VK this past Saturday and it has made things much easier. I'm still using the 510 sometimes when I'm sitting around, but for road trips or when I'm busy with anything else the VK is awesome.
Thanks again to everyone on this forum, hopefully I can help others the way you all have helped me!
