I was wondering what is the life-span of an MVP V2 battery? Any performance drops over time? I'm looking for the amount of time in days(or Month/Years:). This is all assuming that it is being well taken care of like charging before it turns yellow, cleaning contacts, not dropping it etc. Thanks for all replays! I know i will get good ones :)

No way to tell. Too many variables involved.

In general, this type of battery is rated around 250 - 300 recharges. Very loosely, then, if you recharge it every other day, maybe 1 1/2 years?

When vape time (or puff count on the MVP) starts to fall off - less time vaping before needing a charge - you'll know that it's starting to go.

Remember these are "full discharge" cycles. The MVP does not allow you to do a full discharge cycle, it forces a recharge way before cell voltage drops to 3.0 which is considered by the industry to be fully discharged.

Also, after the "rated" number of charges the battery is still capable of holding between 60% to 70% of rated charge. So even after it has gone past it's rated lifetime, you still have quite stiff bit of charge available. They don't just one day "die". You'll notice them going long before then. When it fails to maintain a charge for a day, it would be time to start shopping for a new one I imagine.

Quite frankly, I'm more concerned about other things happening (button failure, charger failure, or stripped threads on the connector) prior to battery death

I have two that are approaching a year old, and they are still as good as they were the day I bought them.

I have an MVP2 that is nearing end of useful life at 9-10 months; currently vapes from full to recharge in about two hours. Treated well, generally vape @6watts, no sub-obm'ing, regular recharge and split duty with second MVP2 purchased two months later. But then I typically vape down an MVP battery in around a day. Enjoy!

got mine in october of last year and it's pretty much dead right now.

do bear in mind though that it has been my one and only device for almost a year and i normally used it till it reached 3.7ish before charging. on average I'd vape at 3.8V. i wasnt very gentle with it, but i wasnt exceptionally rough either,.. i dont think. dropped it only once or twice.

it still works, but it doesnt hold a charge for longer than a 15-20 vapes before it shuts off.

i can and do still use it when sat at my computer with the USB plugged into a charger thingy and it works just fine.

when i realized it was dying i got a portable battery and taped that to the mvp2 and connected with a short usb cable and it works fine,... i just look like I'm sucking on an IED :p

i paid a full 70 bucks on it and for me it was money well spent. even though I've moved on to mechs I am still tempted to get another at 40 bucks,... that's just silly cheap for what it is.
