Thanks for the reply! I am at 190 puffs and still at 4v, so the battery life seems pretty good to me as long as you say you can't judge on how many puffs per voltage drop. I doubt I will let it go til it turns orange. I tend to be pretty .... about my batteries and charge them before they get down too low. I have read this is a good practice with lithium ion batteries.
EDIT: I'm at 200 puffs and just got down to 3.9v. Does this seem on track with your guys experiences? If it was an equal amount per.1v then I'd only be on track to get about 500 puffs. I believe you though when you say it doesn't work that way.

I just got home and was at 387 puffs and it just dropped to 3.8. That doesn't seem as good to me as it should be. I've had a 2.2ohm coil on it most of the day running at 4v. Seems like it should be better than that. According to what people say I should have another 4-500 puffs left. Unless it just lasts on 3.8 and 3.7 for a looong time. I hope I didn't get a defective one. It would be too late now if I did.

How long is your drag? The puff counter does not account for how long you hold down the button. It simply counts each time the button is clicked.

For example. If you take a 6 second drag, and someone else takes 3 second drags, then they will get twice as many puffs as you do.

I chain vape at 10 watts, and I'm just starting to go yellow at the end of the second day. I always charge it every two days. I try to avoid attys under 2Ω because they'll require higher amps, and drain the battery faster. On my Darwin, I always used 3Ω attys. But with the 5v limitation of the MVP, I can't hit the wattage I like at 3Ω, so I had to switch to 2Ω.

So when chain vapeing are you going thru 2mls or 20mls of juice over 2 days.

Husband and I get different results with our MVP'S. We've traded units, switched tanks, etc and it is a difference on how I drag and also the watts used. I like 7.5 thru 9. He likes lower. I also go thru twice as much juice in a day. Don't worry about your puff count, just pay attention to your bat level and charge accordingly. I still charge only every other day.

I notice that mine doesn't stay at 4.2v for long at all. Maybe 10-15 puffs then it drops to 4.1. Is this normal? I've been told that li-ion batteries don't stay at 4.2v for long.

That is how mine behaves as well. My vapes are usually 3-5 seconds a piece but I have no idea how much e-juice I go through in a day as I trade flavors and tanks so often. For me having an idea how many puffs I could get with the MVP will just help me know when I need to think about recharging, or maybe bringing a backup ego with me if I'm going to out all day. Most likely I will probably just get into the habit of charging it each night and not worry about it, lol.

That's what I do, I charge it every night regardless. I also go through different flavors and tanks as well. I also carry a backup 1000mah ego-c in my coat. Today for Christmas I got an itaste vv v3 though so I could always use that as a sweet back up lol.
