Lifespan of VX2 attys compared to m401s

Okay, question for any of you folks that have used both of these. Do the VX2 attys have a signifigantly shorter lifespan than 401s. I ask this because I have used my 401 pretty much all the time for 9 weeks, with no atty death, but today I killed a VX2 atty that I had only used through 4 battery charges. Sooooooo, long story short, I love the VX2 manual and don't plan to stop using it, but I'm wondering if I need to re-think the atty to battery ratio in my stockpiling efforts I don't know if this one was a fluke, or maybe it has to do with using the manual, or maybe they just don't last as long. ANy insight appriciated

im thinkin it was a fluke as i get virtually no returns on the atty for the vx2. but all the same it never hurts to have extras of anything on hand

Could very well be.... I suppose time will tell. So far, I have been much more adept at destroying batteries than attys I am all for keeping extras, more like I am preparing for the e-cig apocalypse. With the order I placed today, I should be up to about 20 or so batteries and an equal # of attys, between the 2 models

All of my VX2 attys are still going like monsters as well. Man I need a manual battery... think I'm gonna place an order here tomorrow... shouldn't have to pay the card off untill after vacation now. LOL!
