Lifting an Evod Clearomizer?

I have a Kanger set up using evod and various protank clearomizers. I also have a tesla that I use as well. The Protanks all work nicely on the Tesla. Sometimes though, I'll have a juice in my evod that I'd like to use on my Tesla, but I am running into a problem.......

The evod head sits too low when screwed into the Tesla and the air holes become blocked. I actually tried using the collar from a protank mini screwed into the evod but that was a leaky mess.

Are there any kind of adapters or collars I can buy that would allow me to properly use an evod in a Tesla?

510/ego adapter - simply duplicates what is there, higher.
Evod should sit approx. flush to top of mod.

I think "edyle" recently posted using a regular protank base on an evod. I could have that completely backwards. Go with what crxess said, that'll work.
