Hi reo experts!
just a new Reo Mini owner here and wondering how to adjust the drag. I bought a 306LR and it seems to light, just not getting the draw that i'm so used to with other pvs.
Is it just because of the atty i'm using? Should I switch to a 510? Is it the hatch on the atty connector?
After much anticipation and excitement, I feel bored using this device and afraid that it might go to our local classys.

Any advice is appreciated

Cheers!

When you say too light...do you mean too airy?

If you are using a new 306...the draw will tighten up with use naturally. The mod itself has little to do with the draw. Have you used the 306 on your other devices? The draw also differs between atty manufacturers. For many of us...it takes a little bit to find the hardware we like to use with our mods. For me, I like the Cisco brand 306s...but I also like a lighter draw. Other folks prefer the IKV or EM and the Joyes.

My advice is to try other atties. If you have a 510 waiting to be used...give it a shot. You can also use 801s & 901s with an adapter...but use caution when using an adapter; as an improperly set center pin on the adapter can short your mod.

Keep us posted! :)

The draw is also changed significantly by the "tightness" which you screw it into the mod. Some of the really tight attys I have used worked better by loosening a ~1/8th of a turn. The reverse applies to "light draw" attys. Of course if its already screwed down "tight" you don't want to "over-tighten" it....

Also, according to several reo mini users, the HH .357mag attys that Cisco at Avid Vaper sells are fanatastic on the minis...

will try to order some black AWs

The recommended battery is the AW IMR 14500 3.7V @ 600 mAh. These batteries fit the best in the Mini. They do not compress the spring much and allow the safety feature of the spring collapsing. The spring will collapse if there is a short and the battery will move away from the firing point. If this feature is disabled by a taller battery you risk more damage to your Mini. The black AW batteries are a little taller than the orange AW IMR.

AW IMR 14500 batteries are the ONLY real choice if getting the absolute BEST performance out of your mini is important to you. Randy, at RTD Vapors will ship overseas. He also has some of the lowest prices and he's a hell of a great guy to deal with. Here's his site... RTDVAPOR.com
Here's the batteries you should be using... AW IMR 14500
Tell him I sent ya! :2cool:
When Issac reopens (maybe tomorrow he's changing to a new server) and when he has the "IO6 1.8Ω LR 306" attys back in stock, the draw on them is a stiff draw. You must buy the special sized IO6 drip tip to be able to use them. (No other size will fit without modifying)
Here's the atty... IKV io6 LR Atomizer 1.8
Here's the drip tips... io6 Delrin Drip tip - IkenVape Store

"IF" you get the above attys and batteries you'll definitley be improving the performance and draw of your vape.
(The cisco atty's (from Avid Vaper) are great too. I have also heard that the HH .357 from Avid works fantastic on the mini's. They are high dollar though! Again, the AW IMR 14500 will give the best performance possible with all these attys.

Cartos are not my cup of tea, but aside from the dual coil's that Hairball stated above, the Ressurector cartos have a huge following. As do the Boge LR's.
