Hey I'm new to the site and I've got a question. I am a casual smoker and I'd like to try e-cigs; someone referred me to try the Mistic e-cigs and I found the site that sells them and they are very reasonable prices. My issue is they sell rechargeables and disposables, but I need to know how long the disposeables last. Does anyone know about these and can help me out? Thank you!!

I purchased an eGo starter kit from DiscountVapers and could not be more pleased with the set-up(s). The kit has everything you need (less fluid) to get you going, IMO, the best choice for someone wanting to start off with a good reliable and simple to use product, IMO, no better choice...

eCig Starter Kit - 650mah

Good luck :)

First off welcome to ECF.

For casual smokers there are quite a few options. Certainly do not recommend disposables as they can end up costing more than analogs.

There the Volcano from Volcano E-cigs Get Best Ecigs | Cost-Effective Best Electronic Cigarettes at Volcanoecigs.com

The Magma from Volcano E-cigs The MAGMA Kit Electronic Cigarettes | ECig Atomizers

The Volt from Smokeless Image The MAGMA Kit Electronic Cigarettes | ECig Atomizers

These are just a few examples.

A few things to keep in mind. You will vape more than you smoke. Keep plenty of water around as vaping can dehydrate you.

Good luck and happy vaping.

An ego style pv is an amazing choice for an initial switchover from cigs to e-cigs.

That's what I did and I have to agree. I got mine 2 weeks ago and tried some juices at the local shop til I found a couple I liked. I haven't smoked since. Previously, in the 18 years that I've been smoking Marlboro Reds, the longest I've gone without a cigarette was 3 days so it's definitely working for me, it doesn't bother me at all to not smoke.

Hello Shanna and welcome from another noob. I second the eGo - from all of my research, it seemed that almost everyone upgraded from the cig-alike choices very quickly because of short battery life. The choice is definitely yours, but I started with an eGo Twist and I am glad I did. Discount Vapers, mentioned above, does have great prices - I bought some back-up batteries from them this weekend, but wish I had made my initial purchase there. Good Luck in your search.

You will save a lot more money with a larger battery and refilling with you own juice. I started with a riva carto delux from liberty flights along with a ego clearomizer. I started with the 30 ml bottle of 100% vg Churchill juice 18 mg which was actually really strong, comming off camel ligts.. if you go high like 18 get something lower just incase its too high for you, all depends on how much you will vape it. get some 5 ml samples . Home Counties is good, the smooth tobacco from the 50/50 line is super good a little touch of hazelnut flavor to me but very tasty.

Got my entire set up for 50.00, juice lasted me a month and the batteries last at least a full day and 300 charges

Never picked up another cigarette after I received my kit

Good luck

Everybody in the world will recommend you getting the eGo starter kit. However, when I tried my friend's eGo starter, I was not pleased. I jumped to a variable PV with a vivi nova tank and I adjust the volts depending on comfort. I am a very happy vaper now. Tomorrow, I'll be trying a full mech mod from Sigelei called the Telescope.

I'll second this. I'd recommend something like a eGo twist and a vivi nova. Relatively inexpensive and a much better vaping experience.

I agree that the eGo or go-go type systems are great to start. Variable voltage batteries make them even better..

Actually, the Joye eRoll/Ovale eMini (same thing, different name) give my Twists and VAMOs a darned good run for the money for vape quality. The eRoll is small, discreet, unisex stylish, super easy to use and packs a very nice vape punch. The very small 1,000 mAh PCC that takes a fully assembled battery is hassle free. The PCC means that you are good to go for the day with just the eRoll and some extra juice. I've been so delighted with my eRoll that I've already bought another for a gift and have more on order for a backup for me and for more gifts. Exhale Vapors has the eRolls for 40% off (40PercentOffECF).

The eRoll is fairly new so not many people are familiar with them yet. These reviews will give you a good idea of the size and how the eRoll works.

I've just started vaping since the end if last year and if I can start over, I'd get a VV eGo (twist, spinner, etc...).
I love my current set up but after hearing how some juices are better "hotter" makes me wonder if I am missing something. Since 5ml bottles are fairly priced, I'm still exploring a lot of flavors from different vendors.
