Well yesterday lightning struck (i believe my local transformer) called the electric company and they said over 100 houses in my area were out of power took them 8 hours to get it back.
In all when the lightning struck (it freaking felt like it hit my house closest strike i have ever been near shook my whole house for a good 10 seconds it was like a helicopter with bright lights landed on my house lol)

ANYWAY i was unlucky enough to have had my batteries charging at the time. I have cheap batteries and charger than came with my VAMO . The charger says the batteries are charged my multimeter says they are not and my vamo agrees. So i dont know if the batteries are broke and will not take a charge (one has no power left the other has .3 volts) Or if the charger is fried and wont charge them.

The charger and the batteries are no name Chinese. The batteries are icr 18650 (i believe non protected) And to top it off they are DKL Batteries from a Shenzhen China IDK if that where the VAMO is made but i do know that most electronics i have purchased (one before these batteries) also broke within a week although i am pretty sure it was the lightning strike. Messed up a bunch of BLEEP

So I am wondering on the best price on a QUALITY charger that will charge both 18650 and 18350. I was thinking the efest Bio As i believe it handles both types I need help with that.

Basically i need to know what charger to get I don't want to spend $40 I would like to stay in the $20 range no more than $30 (i have a budget)
Next i need to buy new batteries so right now i am probably going to go for 2 18350s so i can use my vamo in mini mode. I also want to pick up a Panasonic 18650 when i can find one so this is why i want a charger that can do both although if my budget is an issue on a charger that will work with both ill stick with 18350 although i prefer not to stack when i want full size. Although i can always carry an extra battery but i would end up stacking before i did that. I normally use mini mode at home and full size when at work or out and about.

So in all if I have to I also would like rock bottom charger for 18350s that works? I just don't know where to go to get these. Amazon has a poor selection especially with chargers so I am putting my faith in the forum.

THANKS I hope to get at least one reply so I THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for being awesome and continuing to make this board the BEST.

Sorry about your luck.. Thanks for the reminder though. I need to put my charger on a surge protector.

This is the charger I use. It's nice. You will need spacers for the 18350s though. Otherwise, it's $20 and a great charger.

I'd also pick up some AW batteries while you're there. Good price on the most trusted battery.

I won't be much help since this is the only charger that I bought.

I'm sure others will be able to help you a bit more. Good Luck.

It comes with 2 spacers. But the 18350s need 2 spacers PER battery. So you'll need 2 more if you want to charge 2 18350s at once. Additional spacers are on the site for $0.45 each:

this place has the xtar charger and AW batts, free shipping. ive placed orderes with both RTD and Elite. both have great service.

this is the charger i have. the TN270 by Tenergy. it charges all three of my battery types- 14500, 18350, 18490. i dont have any 18650s, but it will charge them all without spacers.

you may be able to find it cheaper somewhere else, but $16.95 didnt seem too bad to me at the time.
edit: yup. cheaper here:

OK i have found several sites and with different battery costs and shipping i can get a charger and 2 18350s for $40 plus or minus $2 so
Should I get the
Xtar WP2 II
Efest Bio Intelligent
or
Tenergy?
the xtar and the efest bio seam very similar the tenergy requires no spacers (as i have been told) so that's the only difference in the chargers i have found although like i said different batterie prices and shipping they all come in around $40
so IDK what i should get.

I am leaning towards the BIO only because it is made by Efest which I know makes batteries and all the AW are sold out from both sites except one (but its costly thier and not the protected version) know the Xtar is an older model but they seam the same as the BIO anyway SO IDK I am beginning to think that either of them are acceptable. Although since the BIO is made by efest and using the same brand battery for the charger

I am getting a charger and 2 batteries because i want it all to come at once then ill buy an 18650 later. So in a couple days (when my check some in the mail) ill be ordering the xtar or the BIo with unprotected Efest batteries (i will purchase protected AW batteries from another site later as right now I just need my VAMO functioning.

So thats where I am at. Stop me now or at least tell me Bio or Xtar? i will be getting one or the other.
