vapin' for the very first time!

I couldn't help it!!! :p

I am officially stalking my mailman, who has my new Joye 510 setup from cignot and usually delivers my mail between 1-3pm.

I. Am. Scared. To. Death.
That I'm going to hate this thing and that I'll have wasted the money!!!

My reason?

I like the smell and taste of cig smoke, it's WHY I started smoking again after nearly exactly 5 years of quitting!

Did anyone else feel this way when they first got their ecig, PV??

- which by the way, does ANYONE else get a visual in their head of like a light saber when you think Personal Vaporizer?? I'm seeing me vaporizing people with this thing...
"Stand BACK, I have a Personal Vaporizer!" *insert sound effects*

Oh boy, what have I gotten myself into now?!

Don't approach it as a quitting method then. Approach it as a hobby, as a way of getting your nic when you cannot smoke. (Like in the shower or wherever you go that smoking does not work for you.)

Find your own path jedi who welds the vaporizer. Just don't swing that thing at me. I have too much of the darkside with me for you to triumph.

I also love(d) smoking. But I was not scared to try my first ecig. When I first received my first ecig, I was very excited to try it. After the first puff, I knew this could work since it “felt” similar to cigarette smoke on my throat and lungs. Note: it has worked; smoke-free for over 3 months for the first time in 25 years.

Don't worry, you made a good choice with the 510.
It may take a little time to get used to how things work and to find some juice flavors you like but it will grow on you.
If you didn't order any juice with your 510, don't be discouraged with the flavor that comes with it.
Also when you first smoke it it has some juice in the Atty from the factory that generally don't taste that good, after you smoke it for awhile the juice from the cart you put in will work its way in there and it will taste a little better.

You have a lot of Friends here so if you have any questions just ask.
I have a 510 and I love it and vaping. Wouldn't trade it for a regular cig now. It just tastes better.

Good luck and charge them batteries first. :)

Hey, my first post here;
I know what you mean about liking the taste of real cigarettes, when I first moved to my m401 all I got was smoke machine taste, and thought ... "do people really like this?!" but after a while and some new juice I love it. I actually had an analog at the weekend when out and it tasted like utter crap, made me gag almost, So I think you will get used to the taste of e-cigs, and just think.

Can you have so many variations of flavour with analogs? ;)

p.s Hi forum.

I second that:) and good point, one of the hardest things is to find a juice you really like along with the right nicotine concentration.

I was so confused as to the nicotine levels in eliquid at first, I mean a generic analog is 1mg of nicotine, so buying an 18mg strength bottle of juice kinda worried me, but now I see that any lower and the TH wouldn't be as powerful,
also thanks :D

That is a good point... I ordered all different strengths of carts and juice because I had NO CLUE what to get.

I ask this in theory though and I'm not trying to get into a heated discussion but seriously;
Doesn't anyone worry that you're going to make yourself more nicotine addicted by buying higher juice than what is in the ciggs?

That is my big worry personally.
I mean what if I take a "hobby" cig smoking habbit (1-2 cigs a day) and then start vaping juice twice a day that is higher than what I was smoking, if I came off the PV and went back to "analogs" I could in thinking need a good bit more than the 1-2 analogs I was doing to satisfy that need now right???

You probably would, but then again. I did crack at one point during my e-cig roll, I only had one atty and it died at the start of a weekend, I was forced to smoke analogs for 4-5 days, and bearing in mind i'm using 18mg strength juice, I still only smoked my usual amount, if less actually. I was only buying enough to just about see me through the days, and wait for the arrival of my spare parts.

So I think if you smoked 20 a day, you'd still smoke 20. 40 a day, you'd still smoke 40.

You can step down your levels of nicotine when you feel comfortable. You may find (as I have) that you are satisfied with a lower dose of nicotine right off the bat than what you are used to with an analog. After a week of vaping, i smoked a regular cigarette and it was waaay too strong. I'm satisfied with less and that is a wonderful thing! good luck with your 510, they really are the most reliable e-cigs out there! if it's too harsh for you (i didnt like the way it made my throat feel and the taste was a bit harsh, might i recommend an m702 :) it's my own personal fav)

Oh I certainly will charge my Battery, thanks for the reminding :)

And I think you're right, it's the saying "a watched pot doesn't boil"...

It's snowing here and I'm lazy so I keep hitting the refresh on the USPS tracking site to see if it's been delivered yet.
My husband is a mailman, but not MY mailman, he runs a different route.
He gets huffy when I complain to him about how slow the mail is

The tracking truly sucks.

On the 26th the package was shipped by CigNot, on the 27th it was processed through the sort facility in Chicago, IL. Then it fell off the planet for a little over 2 days, no new tracking info...
Then this morning 6:30am, it showed up having left Providence, RI.
By 8:20 it was saying it was in Coventry, RI (where I live).
By 8:29 it said it was sorted with todays mail.
At 8:59 it was out for delivery YET it didn't say this update until after 1pm today!

NO, I didn't literally just sit and refresh, refresh, refresh ALL day long that is the timeline when I found it this morning ;)
