Wow. So many stepped up before I ever saw the post. Good show ECF.

I just want to suggest looking at the Flavor Guide sticky in the DIY e-liquid sub-forum. If you have limited funds and want to experiment it's a good idea to stick with the highest rated flavorings that sound good to you.

That may not be applicable right now as you seem to be getting real good support and won't need to hit more flavoring vendors any time real soon.

the only additional thing I could add is if you have any mixing questions, feel free to PM me. I don't think I'm a very good teacher, but some folks have said they have learned from me. Accidents happen all the time....

Well, limited funds isn't the same as no funds.... so... you need quality and bang for your buck. Now, I can't say who has the lowest price. I can tell you that I have had good experiences with One Stop DIY Shop, Unflavored E-Liquid and Accessories among others.

They often have a "three for the price of two" sale. I also get the PG/VG in 8 oz sizes. Never had any issues with it. Some VG from a different source gave me some irritation. You may find better prices if you shop around, IDK. But nic + PG +VG + flavoring is what you need. As mentioned above, see the DIY section. You may wish to pick up some dropper bottles to hold the liquid tho. You don't need much more than that.

I buy the 48 mg nic in 50/50 mix. I cut it in 1/2 with PG to get 24 mg 75 PG/ 25 VG liquid. And just add flavoring (a few drops per 10 ml). Easy.

Hope it is working out for you!

Unfortunately Crystal Clear Vaping is located in the UK and I am in the USA so their free shipping is limited to "across the pond" so to speak. LOL I also noted their Paypal method does not include the option to check credit\debit card and I do not have a checking or any type of bank account so until they get a merchant account going I'll have to wait to order anything from them :(

I did just order some Vanilla Cupcake and Vanilla Custard as well as 4 other various flavors from Capella Flavor Drops though since they are having a pick 6 flavors and only pay for 4 special with coupon code PICK6PAY4 :) After my order from Gourmet Vapor last night which included their 510 starter kit and some flavors (at 50% off) I am now officially broke. LOL But happy!! Can't wait until my goodies get here and can't wait until I can stop using these useless cheap batteries\carts I purchased over the past few months. They are all starting to die and need constant charging.

Next bit of extra $$$ I can afford to spend will go into more vaping equipment. Got to get my boyfriend hooked on this and away from analogs!!

Crystal Clear Vaping is in the midwest, and I just found that you can mail money orders for payment too (see About Us), but in any case, I'm glad you bought Capella - their flavors are awesome!

Might be a place to consider buying from in the future, they just lowered prices today on nicotine base permanently by 10%.

I hope you can get your boyfriend vaping too - it's so much better, and more fun :)

Darlene, CCV is located in the US. Great company. Free shipping.

It is? The page I ended up on said UK!! Also gave explicit details on why they couldn't accept credit cards. I'm totally confused now!! How did I end up on the wrong site? It defintely said Crystal Clear Vaping. This is so weird.

Thanks so much, I will be asking tons of advice I'm sure and utilizing the forums to ask many questions!! I've been reading and reading until my eyes get blurry. LOL I did see that sticky and should have went back and referred to it before ordering! Sometimes I jump into stuff full throttle. (ok all the time) The members here have been great! I've already got a package on the way and one is due to be shipped tomorrow as well with tons of goodies, as well as a couple others who will send as soon as they can get to the Post office. :) I am forever grateful!!

Thanks for the tips! I saw a thread here started in 2009 (came up in a Google search) that showed a photo of an actual bottle of VG from Rite Aid and I was like, Ohhhhh! I've been looking in all the wrong places! Who knew it was a skin protectant??? LOL Well I do now and know I can pick some up locally if need be. Do you think what you find in the stores is any different than what is ordered online? I read through a lot of that thread but couldn't finish it (17 pages or so!!) and a Pharmacist chimed in regarding the VG found in stores and what USP really means, etc. From what I gathered unless I'm one of those people who has a reaction to it, or the trace.... uh other stuff in it (ie; 99.5% pure) I should be Ok.

However I did note that someone posted common side effects which can include some gastrointestinal upset which some people did report suffering from. So I'm hoping that doesn't happen to me because I hear of everyone talking about the importance of the TH but for me it's all about the enjoyment of the exhale and the amount of vapor which the VG is supposed to really enhance. Personally I really don't want a strong TH. When I exhale it's partially through my sinuses so I can really taste it as it's slowly being exhaled. I created my own concoction with nic juice I already had and some food flavoring from the grocery store the other day and it's pretty good! Made it strong so I only need to add 2 drops of it to the cart (1st drop and last drop) and inbetween I drop 4-6 drops of my nic juice then a drop of my nic juice on the atty.

Problem is the strongest nic juice I have right now is 11mg and that stuff is what I used to mix with the flavoring (because the 11mg nic juice tasted horrible) which is now in a 10ml bottle. I use the better tasting 8mg nic juice and it's just not enough nic for me to stay away from analogs but I have cut down already which is a good thing! Once better equipment arrives and my higher nic content juice, etc. I think I will have better success.

Glad to hear Capella is a good source for flavors!! I hope I didn't make a big boo-boo with my order from Gourmet Vapor. Days of research and watching youtube reviews and I happened to be on the site for Gourmet Vapors at the time my boyfriend was huffing and puffing about me still having my nose stuck in the computer so I panicked and just placed the order to get off the computer. Sigh... I hope their 510 starter kit is worth what I paid for it. At least it was 50% off!! (Lord knows I can't pass up huge discounts and God forbid clearance sales. I'm a marketing teams dream...)

Regarding VG, you can get 100% VG USP (food grade) on ebay. I only buy where the shipping is free because the other sellers with lower prices have high shipping. Just determine the cost per ounce and compare. The larger the VG quantity, the cheaper per ounce price.
With the organic flavors from Vaperite, I use distilled water to make the juice consistancy less thick. Vaperite has a calculator for DIY juice. I only get flavors that are water soluable. Good luck.

I'm sure Gourmet Vapor is great, they own Box Elder Chemical Supply and Honeyville Vapor too and I buy unflavored nicotine from their Box Elder company when they have a sale. I'm sure you will love your new 510 kit too. You did great!

I have never paid more than $6 and change for shipping at perfumers apprentice. my orders are ussually 25+. you might call and make sure it wasn't a mistake. Pa and flavourart are the only ones I like. the problem with fa is us sellers jack up the price but its not worth the shipping from italy unless you make a big order.

i would definately suggest before investing in any 1 flavor vendor accepting some samples from members of ecf. what some love taste like chemicals ect to others and vice versa.
i just got though giving away all my extra flavors to a new diyer or I'd send a variety your way. i do have 1 fl from pa i have plenty to spare of dk tobacco. pm your addy if youd like me to send it to try.

far as nic myfreedomsmokes.com has good nic cheap. they run sales all the time to so if you subscribe to the news letter or check the forum on ecf they have codes. last time I got 40% off. shipping is real cheep to.

I shop on E-bay occasionally and have had an account there for a couple of years at least so that's good to know, but is there any reason why I shouldn't just pick it up at my local Walmart or Rite Aid?? I'm confused!! I do know that there is synthetic VG
and Glycerin made from Animals, etc. but in that thread I read here the pharmacist said that if a bottle marked USP grade VG was on the shelf in say a Rite Aid, Walgreens, etc. that it WAS VG because it had to be due to the strict guidelines of following USP grade.

Is it more cost effective or something to order it online? (ie; Bulk quantities?) I have not yet found it in the stores because my car is in the shop and my boyfriend is working all day long and by the time he gets home it's HOT out there and I have no desire to drive 20 minutes 1 way to the closest Rite Aid in his work truck. LOL I'd send him to pick it up on his way home from work but I can see him returning with lotion or something off the wall. LOL Best if I go and find it myself. ;)

I'm just wondering if you can find it in larger bottles at say Walmart or something and save the shipping and time of waiting for it, etc. We make a trip once a week to the Walmart anyhow and more often than that when we have 2 cars!! (I so need my car to get done!! Exhaust Valve in the head burnt out or something!)

BlueMist Vaping sells DIY flavors for most of their normal flavors. I did some calculations and it looks like you could make 10ml < $2. I'm assuming its the same stuff at the same concentration as what they use in their pre-mixed liquids, but I don't know that for sure. It might be an easy way to get good flavors.

I like bluemist vaping too some of their flavors are really good I'm vaping a diy banna nut bread from them right now

I have used USP Humco Glycerin from Walmart. It is found in the health and beauty section and cost around $3.
Just keep in mind it is very thick. I thin mine with distilled water.

How much do you recommend it be thinned before mixing it with unflavored nic juice to stretch it? I ordered a 60ml bottle of unflavored 36mg nic juice from Gourmet Vapors as well in the same order since everything was 50% off. I'm thinking 18 to 24mg strength is going to be strong enough for me so I plan on diluting it in a 50\50 mix with VG. The flavors I ordered from Gourmet Vapor I experimented with, one I ordered in Zero nicotine strength triple flavor strength, a couple I ordered normal flavor strength and 6mg nicotine strength, etc. I also experimented with the PG\VG ratio. One was 60\40 another 70\30, and so on.

I only learn so much from reading. Myself I have to do hands on learning along with the reading or it really doesn't stick with me. Hence the experimental mixtures listed above.

Hmmm...I have never really measured how much distilled I put with the VG. Strange I know.....
I just put some VG in a bottle and add a little distilled water and shake it up until I get the consistency I want. I like it as thin as PG.

I learn by doing too. And the only thing I am consistent with measuring is with my nicotine base and flavoring with DIY juices.

BlueDogs, I thin mine with PG. I sent you a bottle of the Walmart VG...and some PG as well. You're getting it today, so you can turn into a "mad scientist" today after your mail runs. :) I really would use all VG if it weren't so thick. That's the reason I ever use PG at all....just to thin out the VG. I use anywhere from 10-25% PG in my mixes. You'll get the hang of it after a little experimentation. Ha.
