So hard to penetrate. Been going on for at least 20 minutes I think. Broke the 0.7, 0.6, 0.5, 0.4 and 0.3. Got 0.8, but will it likely work with that big hole? Have made progress, so it's possible. Will order 3-4 more 0.5mm I think... Not cheap though, so maybe I will wait for a tank that got a hole already. :)

Add: Cannot give up! :) Ordered "10Pc 0.5mm Tip 1/8" Shank Spiral Flute Tungsten Carbide Micro PCB Drill Bits" from China for $1.85, free shipment. PCB... Not very great for hard metal I guess...

Time for some building. Haven't built a single coil yet today. Kinda unusual. ;)

Wow, you're courageous and tenacious!
I wouldn't attempt to drill a .5mm hole without a drill press, vise, spot or centering drill and oil.
You did right by ordering bits with a large shank so they will work in any drill press.....like a friend's drill press maybe? I wouldn't trust one of those "drill holder" type drill presses for such accurate/delicate work.
Perhaps a local machine shop or woodworker could help you out.
btw, I used an old dead rectangular box mod to hold the atty while in the vise.

The dual was great at first, but I remembered I had better vape with that juice with a triple twisted coil, so I threw in a pre built Demon Killer triple twisted core clapton coil, and I don't think it can get much better. In the other L+ I have a self built clapton SS316 28x2 core and 38g wrapping, which is awesome too, even though it doesn't look perfect in this close up. :) I have thought it before, and I must admit I prefer single coils. A bit lazy I guess, as a popular youtube reviewer admitted to too. :) It's cheaper too... Juice is expensive as it is.
