My post holes were fine, the original srews that come with it suck, I replaced the orings and the screws with the authentic accessory packs I bought and it was so much better, Granted you should not have to, but if you want it to work right I recommend it. There is another con I forgot to mention and realized only after building and that is the bottom post screws on the clone are hex. but like I said buy the accesory pack and get all good srews and replace them. All good now.

The topcap of the + that I have been using for the past 2 months is having an issue. When placing on top of the atty and screwing it clockwise it just keeps on rotating. Can't change the airflow anymore and the top goes off very easily. Guess the thread of the topcap is worn out badly

Can't find a spare topcap to buy

Think I need to buy a new one which I'll surely will do as this atty is just too nice. The only thing keeping me from buying a + would be if there would come a new version soon. Any rumors out there if there is a new coming one of these days ??

Aspire Quad Flex, 4 in 1 tank

The best RDTA (genesis style) tank out there for 75+ watt chain vapers imo. It's those air bleed holes that every genesis tank should have and probably will when everyone catches on. Unlike the L+ and iJoy Combo RDTAs the Quad Flex performs exactly like a dripper ie unmitigated juice flow.
Haven't had a chance to drill air bleed holes in my L+ or iJoy Combo gennys yet but I'm sure when I do they'll both perform more consistently throughout the entire tank full of juice.

Edit: OK, not the best written post but what I'm talking about here is tank vaping physics. Bottom coil tanks ( RTAs) and top coil tanks (RDTA/Genesis) both suffer from the same dilemma; the vacuum in the tank slows the transport of juice to the coil until air can enter the tank past our wicktails and relieve some of that low pressure (vacuum). With RTAs there's not much we can do about that except reduce the wicktail density and/or length to the point that the atty almost leaks to achieve maximum performance. With genny tanks we have the advantage of the tank being on the bottom so air bleed holes can be drilled through the deck plate for air to enter the tank which keeps the tank pressure higher (closer to atmospheric pressure) and allows for much faster and consistent juice flow. The trick is to select a hole size that is large enough for air to enter the tank easily but small enough that our "thicker than water" juice won't run out all over the place. In the case of the Aspire Quad Flex the hole size is about .5mm. With my 70-80vg juice it works perfectly. No leaking and dripper-like juice flow even when chaining with every breath.

Been trying out this limitless + with my Q class on single coil and I duno why, It's leaking pretty badly when vaping.
I thought my wicking or the airhole port was not screwed correct, I screwed it with the cotton hanging below blocking the juice from flowing.
All looking good and I flipped it upside down for quite a while to make sure no leaking whatsoever.
started chain vaping for a while and yet juices leaked out from the blocked airholes on the adaptor side. It was leaking between the glass and the cover at the adaptor side as well. Rechecked the adaptor and it was snugged firmly into the holes.

Almost giving up and had it retired into the box but I gave it a last shot on dual coils.
Miraculously it performed like a beast and totally ZERO leak at all. Running SS316L dual coil 30mm 6 wraps at 0.16ohms on 60W and wow pretty intense for me who usually been vaping on single coil.

I'm pretty baffled by why this tank works so great on duals with zero leak but on single with adaptor, it is really leaking pretty badly like juices overflowed and went all the way up to the tip, sides, airholes.

Could be a few things.
1. Silicone single coil adapter not sealing off the juice channels.
2. Wicktails not sealing up the juice channels.
3. Leaky tank seal (probably not because it's working fine with dual coils)

I'm guessing the silicone single coil adaptor was leaking because the L+ juice channels have a shape that is difficult to seal ie pointy corners.

I'm leaning to the silicon adapter as well even though it kinda snugged firmly onto the holes.
I'm currently still on duals and everything is prefect, just that juice consumption sky rocketed lol.
wicktails I set them just the way when im on single or duals to seal up the juice channels. On single it was always the adapter end that looked to be leaking pretty badly.

Yeah duals can gobble juice and batteries. You can take half as long of a pull to help reduce the consumption but make sure the heat comes up to match your single coil builds, otherwise your coils will gunk up very quickly.

Been awhile for me buying anything new, the last rdta I bought was the aromamizer supreme back in march. Only vaping on the aromamizer family of rdtas for almost a year now and still enjoy using them daily. I have several v1s a v2 and a supreme.

Quick question, is this limitless rdta in the same league as steam crave? I want to buy myself a new rdta but want to figure out also how difficult these decks are to build on compared to the aromamizers.

Thanks!

The L+ is just as easy to build and wick as the Aromas. Overall I get better flavor from RDTAs (L+, Quad Flex, Ijoy Combo) but at higher power levels eg 75-95w instead of 45-60w. It's the larger atty chambers that force bigger builds and higher power levels in order to keep vapor density (flavor) up.

Got a single coil that's close to 0.9 Ohm now, and I like it. Will it perform nice at 1.2 or 1.5? I chain vape, so I want to avoid sub.

Difficult to answer nocigs. We need a little more info. What mod? How many watts do you run with that single? What wire type and gauges do you have on hand? That said, the L+ produces better flavor with dual coil builds due its large size atty chamber. I rigged one up for a friend with dual 26g 6wrap kanthal coils that worked fairly well at 50-60w but would have been better with larger gauge wire at 80-90w.
