Don't put too much focus on the resistance. It's a regulated mod, meaning that the set watts dictate the vape. Sure, lower resistance usually means thicker wire which requires higher wattage, but the difference between .9 and 1.2Ω builds is unlikely to be very noticeable.

Thank you so much for the help. It's the smok Alien at 35 watts and SS wire. That's gives me a pleasant vape.

Yes, as Ken said, don't focus too much on res. That mod/atty combo can handle just about anything you throw at it.
Assuming that's a 316L ss single coil I'm guessing your coil is around 3mm diameter and 8-9 wraps. My recommendation is to wind up a duplicate coil and run dual coils at 65-70w. Duals work better for chain vaping anyway because you only have to draw half as long to get the same vapor output as a single coil. That means the wicks won't have as much trouble staying saturated. Just in case you're worried about battery life with duals, don't, half as long of a pull means your battery will last about the same as twice as long of a pull on a single coil.
Also, the flavor is going to be much better with duals because the vapor density will better match the atty chamber size.

Lowest nic juice I have is 12mg, and got a 1.4 Ohm coil now, and it performs great at 16 watts.

26G kanthal, 2mm diameter with a Fiber Freaks pre-cut wick.

Has anyone else had an issue with getting their limitless plus and glass breaking from taking it apart? I have broken two glass chambers now while disassembling. I think I may be cranking it down to tight when assembling it and then when I take it apart it cracks. Any ideas?

Saw a youtube video of one removing one of the o-rings. Cannot remember exactly but I think he removed the one in the bottom. It's difficult to remove yes, even when lubricated.

+ 110% certain is was the bottom one.

Have had much problems with spitting. Getting juice in my eyes. Have tried stuffing the coil with more wick, and higher watt as I read too low makes it boil rather than evaporate, but hasn't helped much. Will now try to cut the wicks so that they only reach the top of the glass, and I will also cut them in an angle as I have read that somehow helps. The wicks go all the way to the bottom of the tank now.

Have thought of it might be the rayon too (Fiber Freaks), but I'm now sure about that.

An rda stand that you screw your rda's etc onto.
After screwing on the limitless continue to turn in the same direction whilst holding the glass in the area where the o-rings are being stubborn to lessen the chance of squeezing to hard and cracking the glass.

Has anyone actually broke the glass by squeezing to hard?

Rayon spits a bit more than Cotton anyway.

What build and what's the highest wattage you've tried? I run 28g/36g fused claptons. They are 3mm 6wraps and I run them at 90-100w.
Could be you haven't turned the power up quite enough yet? Could be your coils aren't quite as uniform as they should be. That'll cause spitting too.

Btw, trimming the tails shorter will keep the coils wetter which will require even more power to keep it from spitting.

The airflow on the limitless and plus is very low in comparison to the deck, you can check this by taking the Top cap off and putting it up against the side of the Deck, the majority of people would make a build and leave the coils at the same height as the post holes which would put the coils slightly above the airflow which is great for clouds.
To improve flavour you will need to move the coils down fairly close to the deck.

99% of the time i'm vaping on the limitless or plus, i think they are awesome.

I set my coils so that the bottom of the coil od is even with the bottom edge of the afc slot. Yours set lower than that?

I've been using plain Claptons 26/32 G 316L and I run in TC. While I do have a 100 W preheat after that 40w 450F is smooth, warm, and flavorful. For me I found the vape getting too hot at the end of the vape in wattage mode. My coils are about level with the air slots.

Mine are set up pretty much as you describe, there is room to go lower but i think the deck may well collect and hold onto the heat if you get too close.
I haven't tried this but another possible way to get the airflow higher is to put an o-ring around the deck below the lowest of the two o-rings, just so the top cap sits a little higher.

Got no spitting now. 0.5 Ohm (SS316L 28awg) at 65 watts now, but a bit high I think. 100% VG juice for the first time, so I should have trimmed the wicks shorter, which I read after I began vaping on it. Read that "less cotton is more" (in the coil I thought...), which may have helped, but I also aligned the coils the lowest I have had yet, and I also moved them outwards as far as possible, as I read that can help to prevent spitting. See now that I could have positioned them a bit more outwards (or not?).

+ The smoke detector went off again. Got to disconnect it while vaping this tank. ;)

100% VG sooooo smooth (first bottle I have had), and it's 6mg nic so I boosted it to 0.23 Ohm (26awg, 30awg SS clapton). Wicks barely visible. Trimmed out the ends so they suck up the juice faster. Works great. :)

Cotton, TC at 250C, 482F and 80 watts.

+ 90 watts works better!
++ 100 watts works even better!
