I'm currious if anyone else has experienced anything like this. I had three M401 attys. All were about the same age, one a couple of weeks newier than the other two.

I rotate the things out and use one today, the next one tomorrow, etc..

All worked awesome until recently. I tried a new e-liquid out and after about 3 days all three of my attys have a horrible burnt taste. I've cleaned them using about every method anyone can post on here and still get the same thing.

I understand atty's don't last forever and being an electrical part they will fail but all three failing at once seems a bit odd to me.

You didn't mention how old they were. If they were getting old, and you're rotating them, they would most likely fail around the same time.

I use one at a time. When one goes, I start on a new one. When my supply gets low, I order more.

About a month and a half old. Probably a long time for some attys.

But you've got to divide that by three ... since they were rotated. So three weeks each in not all that great a length of time.

I little while back, I had purchased some juice from a source new to me. I lost 3 attys in 3 days ... Two of which were brand spanking new. I sold that juice (warning the buyer) who had the same results. He lost 4 attys in less than a week, but liked the juice so much he felt it was worth the extra cost.

So yes ... some Juices can kill attys ... Especially if made with high concentration of flavorings.

I am not convinced that e-liquids kill atomizers. As Jim Davis stated, the amount of time you had the atomizers in service might indicate they were FTD (fixin' to die) anyway. At $7-$10 a pop for a new atomizer, they are way less expensive than a carton of analogs.

No doubt that there cheaper than analogs. I'm currently a little wealth deprived so I posted the thread simply because I don't want the same thing to happen with a new order of attys.

i recently ordered some double-flave, low-nic juice which is really yummy, but the first time i've strayed from Dekang. it's thick enough that you can't really drip-fill a cart, you have to remove the wick then dunk it in, and i also notice it doesn't wick well, so i pretty much took to only dripping those flavours. so after a few days to a week of this, my atty isn't tasting burnt, but also isn't giving off much vape, even with my old high-nic clove juice from Dekang which used to be a real fogmaker. throat hit's down too, you have to pull super-slow to increase the vape/air ratio, and even then it's minimal. this same thing happened with a fresh atty. plus i'm going thru batts like there's no tomorrow (like 2hrs on a 401 batt, i usually get 5 or so) due to the constant quest to get a decent hit off it.

so i'm expecting new ones today, and will save these diminished ones for spares. i do think the juice had something to do with it, and am gonna try normal-flave low-nic stuff on my next order with that supplier (the juice IS delish, just gotta get it dialed in, i think).

401 here too, btw.
