liquid in the mouth

hi all i have DSE801 with the standard filing from the carts that came with it.
for some reason i seem to get e juice in my mouth at least 3-4 times a day. so i run rinse that out then pull the thing apart and besides liquid inside the cart its on the outside so i wipe that off and a few hrs later the same thing. they dont appear to be over filled when i top them off. do you think its the filler? should i try tea bags or something?

appreciate any help i can get with this issue. thanks in advance

I started to have the same problem with my 510 carts.
I noticed that liquid was dripping out of the mouthpiece.
Can the restrictor in the mouthpiece degrade?

I have found that once I get liquid in the vents, the easiest thing to do is simply blow through the mouthpiece gently to blow it back into the atty or if I have the cart out, simply blow it into a napkin.

hi nurse, There are a lot of mods in the cart mod section. But I have not found a single filler that didn't give me a mouth full of juice. The atty gets flooded then you suck it up the airflow reservoir into your mouth. There are different fillers you can try to keep the wick wet without so much leakage. The blue foam works well. I use it with my clear cart mod.

I am working on a solution with mod I am doing. They are going to leak, there is no way around that. But I will at least find a way to not let it leak in your mouth, with a mod anyway..

um how much of this juice can i keep getting in my mouth before it makes me sick or kills me LOL
everytime it happens i run like heck to the sink to rinse it out but what will i do if im driving or something?

don't put so much juice in the cart.. that might help. People always say to top it off, but that's usually when you get a mouth full.

Since putting a proper straw mod (messed the first one up) in my 510 cart, I'm no longer having ANY issues. I didn't take off any of the filler, just added the straw in as the 510 Straw Mod video suggests, and I no longer have any issues with juice in the mouth or any bad tastes or lack of vapor (unless I'm vaping Nhaler's Raspberry Frapuccino, for some reason that gives off almost no vapor, while their High Voltage Cafe Mocha Tobacco gives off huge clouds). My carts aren't running dry after a few vapes anymore either, which is very nice since I'm too new to this to drip efficiently.

If you remove some filler as it suggests in the Straw Mod video, your filler is going to be too loose and won't stay even with the top of the cart where it can feed the bridge of the atty properly. Don't know how this works on other models, but a properly done straw mod makes a universe of difference on the 510 manual.

For the 510 carts....the end cap of the mouth peice (the part that goes in the mouth) snaps off. You can use pliers or use your teeth (not recomended). Once it is off you can use a napkin to get the juice out. Then the cap should just snap back on.

Agreed. With my DSE801 I find blowing through the opening there for a few moments clears this up. Likewise, ensure you aren't overfilling it (I now it sounds like common sense but this was the primary cause for my "mouth leaking" )

You'll be okay on the juice, the nicotine is extremely diluted, I used to be paranoid but now just lap up the leaks to no ill effect! Occasionally have gotten the hiccups!

801's cartridges are awful, the condensation on the sides is a problem, I pulled off the cartridge (kept the black mouthpiece) and drip 3 drops on the atty, I LOVE the 801 that way!

510's can leak too, also a great PV though, I drip on it as well, the cartridges just don't work all that well IMO. I still love it for times when I want to be less conspicuous. I use the 510 attys also on my new "Chuck" battery mod...no leaking there, a resevoir around the atty/body catches juice, also get a few DAYS battery life. I use that nights and weekends as it's kinda big and sparkly, garners alot of attention, not always wanted!!

The VK 2 piece units are great for driving or just grab and go, no leaking from the cartomizers until you decide to refill them, then there can be some. Refilling makes them more cost efficient, you may want to try an Ultimate Ultimatum Kit from V4L, it also comes with a USB passthrough for your computer...

All PV's I've tried have their quirks, they are still loveable! Analogs NOT!!

i have resolved the entire liquid issue. i simply do dripping now. i use a coffee stir cut very short (3in or so) and sit it on top of my atty then drop 3-4 drops down the little straw works for a good 10-15 puffs. and hits good like an analog
i take out the coffee stir before using the device (didn't want anyone to be confused and melt a straw hehe) also i dont even bother with a cart anymore. if im going out i just drip 2 attys to take with me and some liquid in a bottle

im going to try a paper clip mod on a cart but for now this is working just great.

My Wall Wart mod never does this. I have very little trouble out of the Nicostick either. The same atty will do it when connected to auto battery. I think instant power which heats quicker has a lot to do with it.
