Hello again,

I've bought myself another batch of liquid nicotine and there is a massive difference compaired to the stuff I've bought from a different vendor. Both have a VG base.

The difference is based on the thickness of the liquid:

Vendor one - Easy to draw via needle and is water like but is 54MG

Vendor two - I had to get a feeding tube to draw the liquid up... It was like drawing pure VG up. This one is a 74mg.

Why is there such a difference??

I store my nicotine batches in a fidge and never had problems with vendor 1.

The colder it is the thicker it will be. I dyi'd with ecigexpress nicotine for a while but my juices were always very harsh. Switched to nudenic and it's 100× smoother. So different vendor nicotine will vary alot. But I have a feeling one bottle was closer to room temperature when you were drawing it and the other was out of the fridge.

VG based nic should not be "water like". It should be VG like. :)

But some vendors do cut their "VG base" with water in order to make it easier to mix in the nic and dispense.

Many consider that undesirable because we'd prefer to decide for ourselves whether there will be water in our juice and if so, how much.

The difference in thickness can only be explained by a temperature difference as long as the two stock solutions are 100% VG. Storage position in your fridge or difference in containers can be some possibilities... I would otherwise guess that the 54mg/ml was prepared with a not very concentrated nicotine PG stock solution diluted in VG from supplier one. Also, I found your nic concentrations not rounded, which is somehow surprising to me from registered vendors. Something may be fishy...

I understand your point but depending of the volume of water added, an a bit over 2 fold dilution to get a 24mg/ml juice with a 54mg/ml stock may make the final juice far from a 100%VG, which really sucks for consumers.

Sorry for the late reply on this. Took my mum out for a drink and something to eat.

The brand I'm having problems with it this one: Nicotine PG/VG Base

I went el-cheapo on it. The other brand was from TW. Which, might I add, is FAR more expensive but claims to be a VG base as well. As others have said that some brands mix in water, I can only assume that is the case... which then makes the 54mg a bust!

Both went into the fridge as I got them. It's the safest place for them and they are well hidden so there's no chance of me picking them up and having a good old drink from. I also read that is one of the best places to store them.

If it is water like I would strongly suspect that somehow you have PG based nic. VG based nic. should be the same consistency as VG. Even if the vendor added some DW it should not be enough to make the result "water like". If it is water added to make it that thin, that is unacceptable. I would E-mail your suplier with your concern. Also, double check the label just in case they shipped you the wrong bottle.

Just shot them a forum post and I'll post the results as I get an answer. This is bugging me now... Because if it's a PG bottle labeled as a VG product... That would mean that ALL of my juices have been mixed wrongly.

EDIT: I know for a 100% fact I ordered a VG bottle from both different suppliers. I could go down and get a photo to show you the differnces and that they are VG based.
