Hey fam, im pretty new to this forum and just got back into vaping.
The only liquid i tried so far was from the volcano brand. Pretty much the only brand we have here on hawaii. I usually mix menthol burst with a fruity flavor such as mango and kiwi. There are more stores that have opened and sell liquid but i was wondering what would be best for me? There are so many different kinds i see.

what is the difference between all the liquids suchs as blends, vg, pg, etc?

also, can a get a suggestion of where i should order my liquids, hopefully a site with free or cheap shipping to hawaii.

Any replies would be helpful

yeah same here. The more PG in my liquid the more vapor i get out of it. If its just VG, i get minor vapor but a lot more flavor. Blends have been the best bet for me.

It's strange that you get more vapor from PG and more flavor from VG. It's usually the other way around. VG is thicker than PG so a heavy VG mix might not wick well which could explain the lack of vapor. A 50/50 blend is a good place to start, then you can customize from there if needed.

Q: What does PG/VG stand for? What benefits come from the different blend types?
A: PG(Propylene Glycol) thinner, tasteless liquid, increases throat hit, allows for more flavor. VG(Vegetable Glycerin) thicker, sweeter liquid, increases vapor density, has no throat hit, allows for less flavor. Typically more PG can increase risk of flavor burn, where more VG can reduce flavor potency. More information can be found here: http://www.mtbakervapor.net/propylen...rin-explained/

i just fiddled with some e liquid and yes i still am getting a lot more vapor from PG liquids. When blended 50-50, i do get a good flavor hit but not as much vapor as the strictly PG liquid.

tested on a tube tank with a XL carto. Worked fine with a clearo. and got similar result with the protank. When i removed one wick, it felt as i got more flavor also. I lost my air flow controller, but i dont think that would make a big difference.
