So, I typically have bought all of my e-liquid from a shop in San Diego, that honestly does a superb job mixing and I have loved it.

I am currently on an extended trip to Hawaii, and dropped into a local Volcano shop to purchase some more. I bought 4 different bottles of their liquid, and I can honestly say I hate every single flavor. Each one is very weak, and after a little while becomes somewhat unbearable to vape.
Has anyone else experienced this with Volcano liquids? Or, do you think it might by my setup? I'm using a VV battery with a Kanger Pro tank system now.

After my experience with this, I have decided to get into DIY'ing my own liquid so I don't have to deal with the in-consistincies between brands.

I had the exact same experience with Volcano e juices other than the vacation in hawaii. I started vaping with volcano and got a bunch of their juices before noticing they all gave me a nasty sore throat and persistent headache.

I am so glad I tried some other vendors juices before going back to smokes.

Can't speak much for their flavors really. I don't mind them, don't hate them. I do know that their juices are 80% PG, have you considered if that was why you were having problems with it?

Since you're here just drop by a store and ask them to try it before you buy. They use a different drip atty for each flavor so you get a true idea of what you're buying, even the different strengths. Try the choconilla haze that's a good one. I like the waikiki watermelon but the flavor does seem a bit weak.

My family lives in Hawaii and I hear volcano is pretty popular out there now...

yeah its blowing up. got shops/vape lounge popping up all over the place. Its what introduced me to ecigs. I know some people rag on it might not be cutting edge technology or the best stuff out but they are solid build and the warranty and service is great since you can just walk in if you have a problem and they are really good at explaining how to setup and use their stuff. I really like being able to try any juice before I buy. They also have good support and sell replacement parts like o-rings and tubes so you can keep your gear running at a relatively low cost.

Taste being complety subjective, I actually really love some of their juice. Tobacco, tobacco pure, and the kiwi especially is, in my opinion, to die for. However I don't like the prices. Quite steep. Also the juices are pg dominant and if that gives you trouble, this is a vendor to avoid!

that is a good point... the place I buy from normally is heavy VG juice... It may be the PG, although I thought PG carried the flavor in ejuice better. Am I mistaken?

I think you are mistaken. From my experience more VG does mean a slightly milder flavor and throat hit but never less flavor. I'd even say the flavor gets better with a 50/50 juice because it's smoother and 'rounded'. That's the best way I can put it. You should give Vaperite's 50/50 (organic) juices a try, absolutely delicious and awesome throat hit. As in not too much, not too little.

I started out with my Volcano Inferno starter kit.. honestly I am completely happy with it. bought a spare tank and me and a friend started vaping away! I started with Sweet Tart - Then I ordered Pineapple Express, After that.. i switched vendors. Since then i've ordered one more kit and 2 more juices (including the one from the kit) which were Shaka Strawberry and Pina Volada. The second kit was for my girlfriend which was using a ciglike with cartridges that were $15 for 5 and was vaping them in 3 days... she was spending more money on those than she was on smoking >< She is pretty... new... to this kind of stuff and i felt the inferno setup was a very simple design for her to start with. It is a solid kit and the batteries charge do last.

For the liquid... Honestly was not impressed with them at all. Pineapple Punch after a day or 2.. it honestly tasted like it went.. bad. The smell was not good by then and was almost like a sweet dirty butthole smell... no joke. Sweet Tart was probably my favorite. It tasted like cough syrup but wasnt that bad lol. The other 2, im not a fan off.

If you get the kit, Find a juice you think you will like (since the kit comes with one) order it then start looking for a new eliquid vendor.

Like someone said earlier.. the Juice is mediocre and not worth the "premium" price. Expensive liquid doesn't mean expensive tasting liquid.
