to ecf. So sorry you are having this issue. Could you tell me what is the percentage of pg/vg in the juice that you are using. Most of what I have read when someone complained of a sore throat is was a high pg juice. You can always try a juice that is say more 30/70 or even higher in vg and see if this rectifies your sore throat. Of course it is possible that you have a pg sensitivity.(allergic reaction) Which a lot of people do and have to use a 100% vg juice. If you are very new to vaping, I would imagine that also could make your throat sore. I have never experience this but I am sure someone will come along and have more information for you. Hope this helped some and good luck to you.

Try a Vendor that offers PG/VG ratios selections. Due to acute sinus allergies, I cannot vape anything that burns or dries out the back of my throat. PG does help a little with flavor, but it also increases Throat Hit (TH).
Velvet Cloud Vapers offers 100% VG E-Liquids. Heather's Heavenly Vapes and MyVapeJuice.com offer 'Purity' lines of e-liquids - no PG in the ingredients or the finished product. If you enjoy MBV, contact them and ask about lower PG ratios or even 100% VG selections.

While what everyone here is saying is true for a majority of people, I tend to be the opposite. Higher VG juices tend to "junk me up" quick, and dark juices tend to give vape mouth.

The only juice I can vape all day, everyday, is Halo SubZero. It's mix ratio isn't published, but I'd estimate it's about 70% PG / 30% VG, and it's the most intense menthol flavor on the market.

The best recommendation I can advise, is to try and "vape through it" and see how things go after a couple of weeks and drinking plenty of water daily. A lot of times, our bodies needs to adjust to not smoking, and vaping is something else entirely to get used to. Experiment with different flavors, and keep at it. Don't be afraid to come here and ask questions. We've all been right where you are now ;)

Think about mixing your own stuff. The ECF has some stickies that will help you start and people here will help you with questions.. You can mix small batches of various mixtures and zero in on your preferences. I started some time back and eventually quit buying pre-made completely. A side benefit of mixing is cost, compared to some of what used to buy, mine is near free.

Ive been using Halo SubZero since day 1 (a year now) and never tried anything else...until now. I tried some MBV Extreme Ice, and i had never had to make the choice of PG/VG value so i just went 50/50, well i got it yesterday from MBV and although i like the taste, it feels like its burning a hole in my throat after just a few hits! Lucky their prices are so low, i may try another order and adjust the levels and see if that takes away the burn.

Im thinking of trying 80/20 and hope i can avoid "the burn" Their prices are hard to beat and could save me a chunk of change if i can find something i like as much as SubZ.

I love SubZero but ultimately i am looking for a cheaper solution as im going through 30ml every 4 days or so.

Try 5 pawns. They're pricey but the only juice maker I've found that doesn't give me throat irritation or nasal inflammation.

Oh yeah and mt baker is trash, worst thing I've ever attempted to vape, threw all of thier bottles of juice out after trying to vape them 2 or 3 times and just ate the loss.
