So I've only been gaping for about 3 weeks now. Last Thursday I decided to amp it up n got the nautilus mini tank ( I had a eleaf mini stick with just the standard tank and cotton wick) so basically I haven't had it that long and my liquid changed to this dark chocolate color. My friend suggested that I change my wick and turn down the v's. So I did n not even 24hrs later it's dark brown chocolatey color again! Help! Is it the favors I'm using?? Because I did try out a new flavor as well.. ): and is it safe to smoke or should I poor it out??

the liquid breaks down and the nicotine gets oxidized as its exposed to sunlight and air. if you leave your bottle of juice open to the air or out in the sunlight too long this will happen rapidly. its not a bad thing as its first happening. it releases alot more of the flavor. but as far as in the tankgoes. sometimes if it has a open airflow or its not super airtight i think it just breathes too much and changes color fast, considering how little juice is in ther relative to a whole bottle. its not a bad thing necessarily as long as it doesnt taste bad. as long as its only happening in the tank and not the whole bottle id say youre probably fine. what will happen is you lose flavor and nicotine potency over time. depending on the juice itll change colors more intensely. but its not necesaarily bad. as long as you are enjoying the flavor of the vape and not getting anything weird out of you should be fine. just might have to mentally accept the fact that with your particular tank this will happen.

hope that helps!

It happens in all my tanks. The juice starts out a light amber color, then gets darker as I continue to refill the liquid. When it gets too dark, I just vape down til it's almost gone, then clean the tank and refill with fresh juice - sometimes replacing the coil but not always. The darker juice won't hurt anything.

The sweet juices trun dark faster/more. The only one I use that does not get dark is some tobacco flavor.
It is not a problem except you may need to rinse out the clearo with warm tap water from time to time. It extends your wick life.
Search youtube for a cleaning your nautilus video. They will teach you how to clean your clearo for optimum performance and longer life.

Just curious, any idea why the tobacco flavor doesn't darken? Not sweetened?
