Liquids burning out cartos?

I typically run 2-3 cartos at a time, 2 full, 1 on the PV. My two main vapes are RY4, and Spearmint. The spearmint carto runs fine day in and day out. The RY4 carto starts developing a burnt flavor after about the 2nd or 3rd fill.

Is this normal? Is it possible that there's something in the liquid that's causing them to burn? Any ideas/suggestions?

I love the flavor, it's one of my favorite, but it's not worth throwing a cartomizer-a-day for.

Also, I've found that I can keep the burnt flavor at bay by typing off every 5-10 pulls. That is, it holds about 4-5 more drops.

Xaiver I too am a big RY4 fan and have shared similar experiences with certain flavors affecting cartomizer flavor performance. I believe this is caused by excessive resin residue on the Atomizer and carmelization of the sugar alcohol (PG) in the polyfill.

I wonder if that's what's giving the burnt flavor, and if those cartos can actually be salvaged then?

Well, I did that and they're still drying, haven't refilled them yet.

I did get a few Smoktech LR's though, They're a bit longer that the Boge LRs. I'm on refill number 6 or 7 and they're not burning. Maybe it's just the Boge's that don't like it?
