Liquids questions from a newbie

I recently got a DSE-801, my first kit and tried it over the weekend. I generally liked it, but am not a big fan of the MB 18mg liquid i ordered with the kit. It's harsh tasting. I did try a few drags off an apple cart that a friend got with his 501 kit and liked that better.

So i wanted to try out a few different flavored liquids to see if i want to stick with vaping over real cigs. I found a site called NUVAPE that offers 3ml sized trial flavors for a small price. I'm disabled though with limited hand function, so i'd prefer buying pre-flavored juice with say 24mg nicotine already in it. My questions

1. If say i bought an apple and a tabacco flavor, but wanted to mix the two together to try, would i be better off just putting a few drops of each on to an empty cart to try the mixed flavor or squirt some apple juice into the vial of tabacco flavored juice?

2. When trying new flavors, do i need to clean an atomizer first before using so that the last flavor i used won't be all on the atomizer?

3. On the site, for each juice it says to pick from PG, VG, or NON-PG. They give a brief definition for each one, but given i'm new, i don't really get what they are talking about. When i order, should i pick PG or NON-PG if both are available or is there little difference?

4. Do most mix the flavors with a tabacco flavor or do you say just vape on pure grape or peach etc ?

5. Are all the tabacco flavors harsh on the throat like that MB is?

Big thanks to anyone who replies. I think i'll take to this, but i could only take 2-3 pulls in a row with that MB flavor i ordered with my kit because it was harsh with a bad aftertaste so i'd fire up a cig instead.

I'd mix them before putting them in the cart. I notice when I top off a cart with a different flavor it doesn't really mix that well, you taste one for a while, then a miz, then the other.

When changing flavors, I vape with an empty cart until it quits putting out vapor, then put the new flavored cart on. You can still taste the old flavor for a little while but the new flavor takes over in about 10-20 vapes.

I think PG gives more throat hit while VG gives more vapor. Some people have reported allergies to one or the other though.

Whatever suits your taste. I prefer a little tobacco flavor with most of mine.

5. Are all the tabacco flavors harsh on the throat like that MB is?

I like the Camel or TAB (turkish american blend) flavors best. They seem to be a little smoother.
