Liquinator problem - doing something wrong

It's your carto and not the Liquinator. Cartos tend to get plugged as the filler swells with juice, although I am not sure that techincally that is the right reason. The center hole of a carto filler material is probably wrapped around a thin shaft at manufacture to leave an air passage. It could also be that the packing works its way loose and fibers start to clog the central air passage.

You could straighten out a paper clip and GENTLY push it through the bottom of the carto until you no longer feel any resistance. I find that a 18 g syringe needle works better since the slopped, sharpend point tends to ream out the center of the carto better than the blunt end of a paper clip. However, you could also break the coil connection. Cartos are cheap enough, so toss it and put a fresh one in there. Would love to see some other suggestions.

Cartos are, sadly, a hit or miss proposition. Some work fine for a week or two; some die out immediately.
