The standard iHybrid is being redone in both a SS version and a Ti version. Should be available from Faceless in the near future. What is not in production is the previous aluminum one.

Monday night at 310vapers the Keep Calm limited edition iHy will go on sale so you can try for that. Same change of purchase as everyone else and it is only $30 more I think.

The iHy's do seem to come up for sale more often than the other hybrids. Love mine.

true but these are mechanicals that are optimized for less voltage drop under load...and that's what the hybrids are aimed at. In fact the Polidiac was tested at just about a close to the hardest hitting Hybrid under load.
and they're just as hard to get and just as expensive lol :)
Neither Poldiac or the ELA are hybrids though. :)
didn't mean to hijack but come on, its just about the same thing, in fact the list before me said these "are hybrids" and that's wrong.

Diablo v.1.1 has gold plated brass contacts. I don't have voltage meter myself, but on the finnish forum others have tested 0.26 drop to 0.9ohm, and 0.30 drop to 0.8ohm. Pretty good results.

And I agree, conductivity is one important factor when choosing right device with genesis style atty's. Especially voltage drop causing by bad switch contact can be really annoying - sometimes you get 3.2v, sometimes 3.7v, and sometimes even missfire... I rather take device with a good switch with ss-contacts, since you can compensate that with your setup and only thing that suffers is your battery life. And of course keeping everything clean helps too.

ooops... ok thanks for that link... pretty technical.
- isn't it true that less resistance inherent in the mechanical device = more voltage to the atomizer? That's what i assume...
and a pretty well known reviewer said the Polidiac hits harder than any ... aside from the youtube that showed a .02 drop under load from his multi meter which kind of confirms it.
here's the link (hopefully) to the Poldiac review I reference.

Voltage drop numbers are meaningless unless you know battery internal resistance, mod resistance and coil ohms.

That's a 38 minute video! Scrolling through it I don't see a voltage drop test.

The point of the Atmizoo article is that you can't compare voltage drop across different devices without using the same battery, the same RBA and the same coil.

in that article he demonstrates voltage drops happens even without a device, just a battery connected to a cartomizer and meter.

there was video for the chi you showing no voltage drop under load of a 1.4ohm coil, which seems like a whole bunch of hooey but whatever.
my devices hit hard enough for me and that's what matters
