the voltage drop with a dmm under load was from a different vid. its posted in the sub forum on APV's titled Poldiac review too.
The link I posted was a long breakdown... in the beginning where he takes some vapes is where he says its the hardest hitting. And I know he has sampled and reviewed quite a bunch of Geni devices... not scientifically but some early adopters of Genesis gear know their stuff....

That's a 38 minute video! Scrolling through it I don't see a voltage drop test.

The point of the Atmizoo article is that you can't compare voltage drop across different devices without using the same battery, the same rba and the same coil.

I agree, absolutely ... not that I'm fanboying the Poldiac, just beating my chest a bit because I love mine.
I love pretty much all the new mechanicals and Hybrids... at least the ones I have heard good reports about.
I was just lucky enough to have the coin, and the timing to get a good deal on mine.
The great thing about Genesis atomizers and devices, like so many reviewers are saying, the great flavor and vapor are more a product of setting your coil and wick up right.
You could have a Hellfire and a Caravella but it would be nothing if you don't set up the coil and wick properly.

in that article he demonstrates voltage drops happens even without a device, just a battery connected to a cartomizer and meter.

there was video for the chi you showing no voltage drop under load of a 1.4ohm coil, which seems like a whole bunch of hooey but whatever.
my devices hit hard enough for me and that's what matters

from what i read on the atamizoo page, i couldn't tell what would be a good spec because the details are well over my head... poof!

actually the video by manimal on the Poldiac review showed 3.96 under load... fwiw

Yes 3.96, which as a 0.2volt drop compared to the unloaded measurement.
But yes, what's on Atmizoo site is correct, just measuring the voltage drop doesn't really tell the whole story indeed.

ihybrid, orion, katana, silverdog, nobel 1, juggernaut, foggatti, macaveli, Zenesis, ngp, I believe wizard makes one as well, of course there are more less known and impossible to find ones out there but the listed are going to be your best bet for availability. hope this helps as the thread got a bit off track so I hope your question is answered. I also just saw a new hybrid coming out of china on alibaba sometime in 2013 which might be worth a try as I'm sure the price will be low enough that even if it sucks you probably wouldn't be mad about spending the money. I own 2 ngp hybrids and for the money their fantastic. can be bought off vaporwall or ngp.hu has a contact email address.
