The ignorance of how patents work... It just amazes me how something that is at the cornerstone of commerce in the world can be so misunderstood... And how ANGRY people get when an inventor asserts his rights!
Look, we live in a world where people steal intellectual property at the speed of light... Kids that are growing up feeling it's their god given right to steal music, software, ideas... You name it... If it's not tied down, it's up for grabs!
I'm truly embarrassed for those that feel Mike is doing something wrong. I have genuine concern for the future when kids steal what they can, and seasoned adults look selfishly down on guys like Mike, damn near condemning him for making a living in a legal and ethical way.
The only word I can use to describe this feeling is shame... I am ashamed of those that speak out against this really important moment in the evolution of Mikes company.
