I went through the same thing and now have a box full of pvs and mods. I quit looking and haven't needed another PV since I got my Buzz from notcig. It's the mod that brought variable voltage to the ecig world and now it covers all the voltage levels everyone of the numerous mods I have do. It's like having them all rolled into one. It covers every volt from 3 to 6. And soon the Pro edition is being released that has extended vaping time. I was vaping for 20 hrs. on one set of batteries. Notcigs Come to the notcig forum and read what the others think of their Buzz and just hang out. Have some fun. Notcigs

Thanks for the info everyone. I'd like to get a tube mod for home & a bottom feeder for work. The only tube mods I'm currently interested in are the PureSmoker Prodigy & Icon, GLV Mini, Precise 16340, Altsmoke BB, & the Mako Midi. Not interested in VV or wooden box mods, I e-mailed Zack @ OldGoatMods about a bottom feeder because they're inexpensive and it would be nice to find out if I even like bottom feeders before I try to get a Reo Grand & Mini during the next sales.

Well if you're handy and want to try a bottom feeder for cheap. There is this one. It's what I'm vaping now.

All of the good ones you have to wait for. There is a reason they are always sold out.

The only bad one of the bunch to get was the Darwin. That was absolute fail... You have to click refresh refresh refresh on the screen and hope you time it right. They sell out in about 10 minutes or so. Friend of mine asked me to get one for him, so I ordered a Provari instead for him. I have to work for a living, and I can't sit in front of a computer hitting refresh. Seriously stupid way to buy something when you can't pre-order.

Nice collection, Stownz. How many smokers have you converted to vaping so far?

Not sure to be honest, quite a few. I've always enjoyed explaining how these things work. The biggest thing is getting people a combination they enjoy. Then they can go from part time vaping too full time. I invite people over, and have vape partys. Let them try out all the PVs on the market, and test flavors. Its a lot of fun !

To see someone grin when they try out a mod that blows their minds.

To see that look of surprise when they realize what vaping really is about.

To save someone a fortune in crappy mods, and cartos, and junk juice because you let them try them out.

Great times !

I've had a lot less success. :(

I think the people that have asked me about my mod are just wishy washy. Now I just ask them for their e-mail address, e-mail them links to doctor vapor's e-cig 101 videos and then suggest they talk to me again before buying anything.

From now on, I'm gonna tell them to google Stownz+ECF.

I'm still a firm believer that anyone can get off analogs. If they find a good PV that vapes good, and the right juice. The right juice is actually harder then the right PV. Thats where throwing the parties helps, they can taste test all kinds of stuff till they find something they like. As the industry stands now, you can blow a fortune looking for a juice you love. People give up very very easy when it comes to E-cigs. Once more storefronts open up, that allow testing, the more people we will see convert.

Beautiful thing is seeing all the prices come down! I started mixing my juice because people wanted $1 a ml for .05 worth of juice and bottle. That is all now changing. Technology has increased and some really really great PVs are being made now.

In reference to helping people, you don't need to be all that knowledgeable, just be stupid and buy every new carto/atty/tank/pv/drip tip/mod made. Then you can get a HUGE bank of experience, lol.

Wheezin...check out the ProVape 1 also...seems to fit into what you are looking at....

ProVape Electronic Cigarette Battery Mods, Atomizers and E-Cigarette Accessories

Thanks for the recommendation, haven't done too much research on ProVape. So far I'm leaning towards a GLV Mini. I e-mailed the company about a week ago with no reply, does anyone know what the lead time for a mini usually is? Also, hopefully I'll be checking the Reo Grand off the list soon. Supposedly there's going to be over 300 available this time around.

Sorry, don't know about the GLV stuff. Nothing special there, so never seen a reason to buy one. Reo would be pretty cool, I keep thinking about getting one because I don't own a bottom feeder. He is always out of stock and can't pre-order though and after spending months trying to refresh refresh refresh to buy a darwin, I told myself I would never do that again. Thats a lame ... way to run a business and sell stuff.
