Cant' do that.. I signed a non compete.. and my boss is the type of jerk to file charges.

Naah I think I'll go see if I can get in at costco.. I heard they pay 12 an hour starting .. its more than I was making before and it's less than a mile from the house. Plus its a job that requires no thought and will keep me moving.. ya know.. sitting at a desk all the time gets old after all these years. It'll be nice not to have to think.. and maybe I'll actually go to collage now.. I devoted so much to this job.. gave up a lot of opertunities.. now there's nothing holding me back :)

like I said though, still happy to give advice to any supplier that needs it. Loosing the job doesn't mean I threw away all the knowledge that went with it

So I thought this was a "List Of Suppliers PayPal Has Suspended", but I don't see a list. Shouldn't someone be keeping track of who is on and who isn't on the list?

There probably isn't even really a need for a list any longer. We all know PayPal is nuking e-cig vendors. If you go to someone's website and they don't accept PayPal - they've been nuked.

How would this list be useful anyway? If we really need one, maybe we can ask PayPal to send one to us. :p

Made e-cig purchase using Paypal last night. It's almost funny but one of those purchases was made using Paypal at TW. I made another purchase later at a different site and I wanted to use my credit card but Paypal almost insisted that since I had a Paypal account that I really should make the purchase using my Paypal account. So have they stopped harrasing the e-cig merchants?

:D

It was noted several pages back by a rep in the merchant services industry that compiling a list of Paypal Vendors would open them up to being deluged by spam from every merchant services shark out there. As I posted several messages back, any vendor dropped by PayPal is more then welcome to list themselves on this thread. In hindsight, as the OP, it may not have been the best idea to start a list. I was hoping it would give the vendors, merchants and customers a place to go to get updates and info. Didn't work out that way however.

I think your post worked very well. I didn't expect to find a list of suppliers. That would be unwise as you noted.

I am wondering why Paypal has acted in an erratic way to target some suppliers and not others. Either they have a policy or they don't. How can they terminate some suppliers using one justification and leave others untouched that could have been terminated for the same justification. Very unfair!

Does anyone know how to set up an alternative CC processor? If anyone can offer help with that I would be very appreciative.

We are hoping to open our store soon but do not want to risk having our funds frozen by Paypal.

You may want to PM Ryle, she no longer works in the industry, but is still assisting vendors get in contact with merchant service providors that can help.

Add me to the list of those "canned" by PayPal:

"Thank you for contacting PayPal with your concern regarding the
limitation on your account.

The transactions given in the previous email were given only as examples
due to the association to sales on your website. PayPal has made the
business decision to exit the market in regard to e-cigarettes as well
as all products associated with e-cigarettes. This is not a decision
that we make lightly, however due to the recent warning by the FDA in
regard to these products it is a decision made in best interest. For
additional information, please see the following URL:
FDA Warns of Health Risks Posed by E-Cigarettes.

Your appeal to lift the limitation on your account has been denied. In
order to comply with PayPal’s Acceptable Use Policy and bring your
account into good standing, you will need to:

Remove PayPal as a payment option, as well as all references to PayPal,
including the PayPal logo and/or shopping cart, from your website(s)
TastyVapor.Webs.Com - DISCOUNT Liquids and Mixers - Home.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. If you have any
questions, you can either log in to your PayPal account for more
information, or contact the PayPal Acceptable Use Policy Department at
aup@paypal.com

I read something about ASH advising pay pal that providing a way for people to pay for illegal products would get them in trouble.
Also read the something about the FDA doing the same thing
ecigs are not illegal yet are they

Why is it that everyone is so afraid of ASH they are not law enforcement

The only reason I had a paypay account was that every time I ordered something paypal would nag me about why I didn't use it to order! If my supplier gets the boot, I'll just boot paypal right back and delete my account. Fair is fair.

Yes and that is what you , me and a lot of other people are going to do

The only way that i can get there notice is to complain to them and if that don't work i take my business else where and so will my friends and associates

When they lose enough customers maybe they will get the message
