Give your reasons if you like, but otherwise just list 'em.

1) Velocity
2) Vector
3) doge X2

Velocity: Build deck, taste, airflow, style, machining quality
Vector: Drip-proof, machining quality, style, taste, build deck
doge X2: Airflow, style, taste, doge, it just makes me smile
What are the prices?

What are the prices?
Tugboat V2 is $89.99 and the Slammed Cap is $35.00. Flawless has occasional sales and you can get them cheaper. For Memorial Day, the V2 was $45.00 and the Slammed Caps were $22.00. The Derringer authentic is $75-80 I think. Mine are Tobeco clones which I picked up for $7.99 each. When the V2 comes out, I'm going to grab an authentic.

Thank you, I'm think about trying this. I was curious to see what I was getting into. I asked a couple others that listed their top three. Do you think it is worth diving into?
So this would be your first dripper? IMO, yes, it's definitely worth it. The vape is much more flavorful with a dripper. I'd suggest starting with a clone because they're a lot cheaper. A lot of people don't care for them but better to try out dripping on the cheap and find out if you like it before committing to more expensive attys.

I just picked these up at an ecig expo in UK:

1. Hastur - This is a cheap authentic. Its small (like a slam cap), but has a wide-bore tip, airflow that starts at the top and channels down and through the sides on the inside, so its leakproof. And it has a 510 that works with hybrid mods. Flavor is great.

2. Samurai Bonzai - This is expensive. It is so tiny. I would expect something this small to cause juice to be sucked up when vaping. But it doesn't. It has a wide-bore drip tip with a splash guard (which normally I would hate bc I dirp through a wide-bore tip), but there is a hole in the center of the guard that perfectly fits the dropper from my juice bottle top caps... so I can just squirt my juice down there. Fantastic. Amazing flavor. This RDA exceeded my expectations.

3. Velocity - This is high-end epensive, and everyone knows about it already. Its a good RDA. The tolerances on the authentic are perfect. Everything fits together so exactly. I have other RDAs that match the flavor and airflow of this, but none that have this kind of build deck... its quite unique, definitly one for the collectors.

  • TOBH v2.5: Perfect balance of flavor and clouds. A bit tricky to build on at first because of the airflow control tab placement, but you will quickly learn what works good. It's an older design but it just plain works.
  • Holmes v2: The best flavor of any RDA I have tried. Absolutely huge drip well, removable deck (stupidly simple to build on), and is essentially leakproof without any O-rings (except for the heatsink portion of the top cap). Good airflow (much better than the Magma) that is adjustable "on the fly", with large enough post holes for all but the craziest builds. A bit bulky.
  • Magma: Very solidly built, deep drip well, excellent flavor. The airflow is somewhat lacking (even wide open it is still somewhat "tight"), and the small post holes limit the gauge of wire you can use. But it is an excellent complement to the Holmes v2 -- the Magma works best with higher-resistance builds (you can get incredible flavor at surprisingly low wattages), and the Holmes works best with lower resistance builds. Under 0.7 ohms I go for the Holmes, above 0.7 ohms I go for the Magma.

I don't think I ever saw the Holmes before. Really interesting construction. How's the quality level? (Cigreen has disappointed me in the past...)

Considering I'm down to three drippers, this is a little unfair, so I'll make my list including those atties recently retired:

1) CV Immortalizer (RIP) - current replacement is the Pulse by RM, but no atty I've used can touch the Immo for quality of vape, riddled with downsides though it is.
2) VA Cyclone (stock, non-AFC, RIP) - My most used atomizer by a long shot. Pure simplicity, tiny, spectacularly balanced vape. I plan to replace this with the Revolt, though I may just buy a new one.
3) CoV Royal Hunter - this thing is versatile, well built and just damn impressive. I don't see this getting shelved any time soon. Hugely impressed with this gorgeous little thing.

Updating my list

1) Velocity
2) Vector
3) Troll V1.5

Velocity: Build deck, flavor, airflow, style, machining quality
Vector: Drip-proof, machining quality, style, flavor, build deck
Troll V1.5: Clouds, build deck, flavor, fit & finish, value

Brought my Troll out of retirement and back into my regular rotation. Remembering why I liked it so much in the first place. Quite a bargain.
