While I do appreciate this thread. I have appeased my urge to purchase another mod.
I just bought a second hand Grand LP ultra light, off of Ebay. My second rescue mod.
Definitely not under $100.00, but worth every penny with the included second hand RDA on it.
I will definitely keep watching this thread, as my collection grows.

LOL... I loved my VTR for a few months after purchasing it. What frustrated me was a lack of good attys that would nest, especially RTAs. It was actually not a particularly large device against its competition at the time. The weight and size never bothered me until I received my first iStick...

Uses 2 18650 Lipo - 4400 mah total, and as close to the size of a pack of smokes as is possible without actually intending to....
The M65 uses 2 18650??? Didn't catch that. I think i would go with the M50 and go with the 65w upgrade option if I wanted 65w. Just for the smaller form factor.
@Katdarling: I think there is a little confusion. The Smok M65 is not a separate device. The M50 is upgradable to 65w. The M65 Plus is a different device. Unless of course they are replacing the M50 with the M65. Which there is no indication of on the Smok website.
From the "Smok xPro M50 Mini Box Mod" thread...comparing it to the iStick:
ObsceneJesster: Fit and finish is great. It feels solid, the power button is tactile and the buttons click when pressed. The size of the device is perfect in my opinion. It's not to small and not to large. It fits perfectly in the palm of an average sized hand. The amount of power packed into this little device is insane.
All in all, I am very impressed with this mod. When I leave the house, I will be grabbing this over my iStick. Not just because it's more powerful but it also feels better in the hand.
skjames19: Size: Its hard to get an idea of the actual size by looking at pictures online. Even watching videos on youtube seems doesnt give you an actual sense of its size. If you have an istick, the m50 feels and looks like a bloated istick. its BARELY maybe 10% larger, BUT that is the difference between looking just a tad to big to being the perfect size. My coworker even mentioned that my istick seemed small, but this m50 looks like a tank. That extra 10mm in height from 75mm to 85mm is huge when it comes to perceived size, even though its such a small difference. Same goes with the width, its barely wider than an istick, but added with the bit of height, other people seem to think this is too big but the istick seemed small.
I had planned for this to be my out and about mod, but like i mentioned, its just baaarely too big for my liking. Not only the slight larger increase in size, but design also has a lot to do with perceived size. The more boxy a mod is, the bigger it looks. The istick had curves to make you think it was smaller than it actually was.
Rating: If I rate the istick at 8, -2 for the crappy pin, id rate this a 7, -2 for the no pass through and -1 for its slightly larger actual and perceived(boxy=this vs curves=isitck) size.

If you bought M50, we will still send you M50.
Recent batches of SMOK xpro M65 will still come with "M50" marked on the body, but with updated chip."
