Damn... That is a Good Price.

I just Refinished a ipv Mini using bake on Pebeo Porcelain Paint. And replaced the Failing 510 thread seal with a [HASHTAG]#102[/HASHTAG] O-Ring I got of e-Bay.

Put about the Same amount of Money into "Fixing" mine as I could have spent on a New One.

LOL

That's a GREAT price for that mod.

Slap a $10 JWrap on it, or one of those silly-cone thingies, and you've got yourself one heckuva device for under $30.

I didn't have a "2", but I liked my "1" a lot. It served me well.
I kinda feel that the size, the lack of buck regulation (being the turtle-puffer that I am), the quality of the battery cap and tube, and the quality of the finish all added up to 'fail' on the 2. The '1' has buck, and would make it just barely better suited for me. The size is still too big for the function, and the finish is sooo substandard.

I know that crxess and others strongly disagree, but in my opinion that $20 is about exactly what the IPV Mini 2 is worth.

I hate to be this way. But I think Most Mods are Vastly over Priced.

I have 2 IPV Mini's. A Grey one (Early Generation) and a Black One (somewhat later Generation). The Grey one is Cosmetically still doing Good. Yeah, the Finish is worn somewhat. And it has some Scratches from doing 8.5 Hal Gainer Dives off my Desk. But not bad.

The Finish Black one lasted about 3 Weeks. And once it got Scratched, the Paint Flaked off it like Over Cooked Fish.

But they Both have been Rock Solid Ohm/Wattage wise. My Biggest Complaint is that they are Heavy.

No I don't, but we couldn't get them for that back then

I think $20 is a fair price..........and I refuse to discuss the iStick 20's:mad:
Remember, I was one of the First Vamo owners........at $27/shipped:D
Hey, in 18350 it was sort of itty bitty:confused:

Going to use my Newest Mod to keep me from Blowing away in Hurricanes:shock:

Thank you for the giggles, guys. It was worth it to ME that you got that black IPV mini zoiD...... just to get to see your description of the paint!

And crxess, the Vamo was sort of itty bitty? Hahhahahaahhahaahahahahahaha!

Ok, somebody please talk me out of buying this. KSD Vamo 25w. Istick mini-ish mod, removable 18350, usable wattage, cheap as hell.

To me...it looks kinda' interesting...

While the Kangside is twice the size of the Mini iStick 20 (55,776 mm³ vs. 25,662 mm³)...the Kangside is about $8 (33%) less in cost...has a spring-loaded 510 (vs. a fixed 510 in the Mini iStick 20)...has 2.0V-8.5V output (vs. 3.3V-5.5V)...and a replaceable 18350 (800mAh is sorta' close to the Mini iStick 20's 1050mAh).

18350 800mAh

Hey now! I still have use for my Vamo in 18650 mode. I keep it in the trunk of my car. If I get a flat tire, I can use it safely as a handle for my car jack to stand well away from traffic. Like, 2 blocks away! ;)

I have an SVD20 that is so tall it makes a Vamo look like it just came out of a cold shower!

I remember the First Time I saw someone in public using a Vamo in 18650 Mode. This guy was having an Animated Conversation with his friend and was waving his Hands in the air.

It looked like he was Trying to Direct a 737-400 into the Boarding Gate at LAX.

LOL

Now I understand-----------just wondered how many volts all these batteries add up 2------------------------------ahahaha

Rots-n-Rots-n-Rots.

When you see Batteries "Stacked" (in Series) like that, just Multiply the Number of Batteries times 4.2 and that will give you the Volts.
