That makes more sense, talking "kit." But it's not like he was reviewing hybrids...

I use an eGo One tank on my eGo One mod, but didn't care for it on the VT, so I just ordered the mod only from cignot - although I got some coils to go above the $50 for free shipping :)

Color me confused. You can only use the egoOne tank on it?? I guess they must use a special spring loaded 510 that isn't a 510?? Thought Rip was a bit sharper than that...

Well, he vaped it with his favorite dripper - that may tell you something

I do feel your pain...

I think I'm gonna open a blister pack, a new bottle from Ahlusion (I did order a lot of joose while watching the hearings in Sacramento ), and take a nice, relaxing bath. We're allowed now, aren't we? We got a lot of rain so early in the season. :)

re:The 'bypass mode' puts you into mech mod where if the chip fails you still vape :- )

We would all like to think that 'replaceable batts' mean forever, but that simply isn't the case because chips fail. So in this case, you could still use the mod - while you're waiting for the chip replacement ;) I may try that mode just for kicks but likely will never use it - I'm hooked on regulated mods now. :- )
Kent, the Bypass mode just means that the electronics do not regulate the voltage. It does not become a mechanical device. The power still goes through the chip. If the chip burns out, bypass mode is still going to fail.

Say what? I'm lost again... Evic VTC mini has a regular 510 connection, no?
VTC regular 510, just got mine last week from Ecig.Com $40 full kit. Out of VT, D2 Sigelei75, this is by far favorite. Size is perfect, feel is excellent, vape TC works better. Large screen and easy menu are big bonus for those switching tanks often. For the small mod, can't think of one I would like better. Only better vape I have found is the DNA200 mods, no where near the price point. Don't care for the tank, but picked up a few Ni/Ti packs for $7something, is decent tank.

Yes :)

But Rip ripped it because he didn't like the tank it came with... as if he couldn't swap to another. (But if he actually was comparing the two kits, box AND topper, sort of makes sense.)

Hybrid... the topper generally makes direct contact with the positive pin of the battery, often an integral part of the design. Switching to a different topper may lead to a burning sensation if the pos pin of the topper is flush with the negative "collar."

Oh.. ok... I slipped passed the whole explanation. Thanks VTurtle...

Funny... while I really like the looks of the subox kit, I've had leaky problems with the STank so I'll be using GS Air M (or TC) on both

Question - if I may... Let's say I purchased the Wismec Presa TC40W .... It looks nice, it's small, love the fire button, not crazy about the built in battery - but... How do I know what tank to use on top?

Many on the "GS Air Fan" thread have replaced their Nauty's with the better flavor/more vapor GS Airs.

If interested in the inexpensive ($9-$14) GS Airs...this link shows all 4 models...left=>right..."GS Air", "GS Tank", "GS Air MS" and "GS Air M". [All 3 coils will fit all of the 4 models.]

I am waiting for someone to compare the Evic VTC mini with the IStick 40W TC.

Not the iStick-TC40W...but AJ compares the VTC Mini with the iPV D2...

The longer I vape, the lazier I get. Twoof.

SLOTH has always been one of my more enjoyable "Deadly Sins".

When I was a smoker...I was too lazy to grow my own tobacco...and even too lazy to "roll my own".

Now...as a vaper...I find I'm too lazy to rebuild $1.50 coils...and even too lazy to DIY E-joose.

Thanks. Good to know. I'm mostly interested in the mod--not so much the tank. I like my Eleaf GS TC tank.

Yes, I watched the videos and I figured that out.

I remember that the old Evic had a hybrid connection, didn't it? Never got one so I'm not sure.

So what's the purpose of this bypass mode, in your opinion? Just curious.

I don't know of a Good 25A Battery. Do you Need 25 Amps?

I use Samsung INR18650-25R. But those are 20A. They are also 2500mAh.

Is this Samsung the preferred battery for more advanced TC mods? I don't need 25 Amps. I just need a good and safe battery that will last a while.
