Nice Find!!!

At 80 X 33 X 23 it fits aldenf's "mini" classification (85mm or less in length--45mm or less in width--23mm or less in depth).

And...we're talking only 36 guacamoles

It's barely a hair taller than the iStick 30W and only a couple of bucks more. If someone prefers a boxier style mod, this could be it.

The chipset used is DNA-esque, in that it won't regulate below battery voltage. It's output is speced at a minimum of 4V. That's probably only a concern for low-wattage vapers.

You can't fire BELOW 30W @ .54Ω and lower. So if you're running an Atlantis or SubTank at .5Ω, you're ONLY be able to vape at 30W. That could be a problem...

Has anyone confirmed wither the iStick can buck? The cloupor mini does not buck also.

I've been using my new 30W iStick for 24 hrs now. I fully charged it overnight as it was down 2 bars when I climbed into bed.

I've been in touch with a guy from another forum. We were the techno-snobs hammering the first iStick. Yet we both love them. Full testing will take some time.

We do know that the iStick is firing in PWM, at 22kHz. That's pretty fast folks; 22x faster than a ProVari (around 100Hz). This allows Eleaf to apply some light filtering. (Higher frequencies are easier and cheaper to filter.) Don't expect ProVari level filtering however. The signal is much dirtier than a ProVari but MUCH smoother than the original iStick. It's output is tuned to RMS!

The original iStick's regulation was pretty darned good but tuned to Vavg. The 30W does not seem to regulate as tightly and seems to fire slightly hotter. In the example below, firing at 3V, the 30W iStick is actually firing 3.38V. I believe that is an unloaded measurement. So full testing is required to determine complete regulation capabilities.

At this point, I am VERY happy with the 30watter and would recommend this to my sister. (My sister is my unofficial benchmark as I get all the calls when something is awry.) For $35, this is a no-brainer, except, perhaps, if you're running an Atlantis.

I'll have more thoughts later this evening.

The Cloupor mini, however, does fire down to 3.6v, so that puts you down around the 22-25w range for a minimum on a 0.5 ohm coil (depending on how it reads the actual resistance). And it's not PWM.

Great thread Kat! Thanks for pulling these all together. :toast:

Edit: After looking over the list a little, I would feel better if you could add a column for each available color for each mod. :D

nice job Kat

Sure, sweetie!!! Want one for release dates? How bout on/off clicks? Best price in town column? Tax/no tax? Fit in a cup holder? Matching drip tips?

We can make this spreadsheet as WIIIIIDE as ya like!

Excellent idea vapspaz. Thread admin--please update

You are QUICKLY approaching the top spot on my :censored: list! :D

Can we add a column for video reviews? J/K. here is PBusardo review of the Cloupor Mini

I'm on it. <<<<yawn>>> (no, I'm not)

Altho..... that's not a bad idea! Shall we? If 10 of you say yes, I'll toss it into the mix! You guys provide the info, and I will include it.

The takeaway from this review is: if you want LESS than 30W on your 0.5Ω Atlantis or SubTank, you're out of luck...

ETA: I'm also looking forward to the SubTank Nano with a 1.2Ω head for my VTR. :)

Yes please a link to a respected reviewer of each would be a wonderful addition to your already wonderful project! :toast:

Uh oh..... we can't even define "itty bitty" in terms of size.....

How the heck are we going to define "respected"!!

(I suppose I could make another column for respected/disrespected) ;)

Have a seat next to Mr. Shack. ;)

As much as I'd like to do that for you, , , nope! That's not a happening. Prices fluctuate too much, too often.

What we CAN do tho, is to put up another huge red signal in the thread when someone finds a deal.

(Look for DEAL )
