I can relate, the MVP2 was my first foray into "box" shaped mods. Prior to that i felt they all needed to be the shape of the battery/batteries i started with. Round ones. I had ego twists, spinners, eVic supreme mech mods VV, VV/VW but everything shaped round till i picked up a MVP2 purely for battery potential. Found it to be a great little unit built like a tank. I still have it though it is relegated to the bottom shelf, seldom used devices now. The only complaint i ever had with it was the blasted configuration of the fire button. Placement, that great wall of vape built around it to protect from accidental fire and the force needed to make the switch. Have since moved on to a IPV3 at the house with drippers and had been using iSticks as my daily driver. I am trying a Kamry 20 right now just because I keep scratching up my iSticks terribly. During the work day I am extreamly hard on devices. The Kamry is made of a good thick aluminum body (brushed) that seems to be holding up pretty good. Pics if requested. One other thing it does show the same 6w/3v limitation as the iStick 20 but it is obvious with a (1.5 ohm coil in a modified iClear X.l) on both at 6w the iStick is considerably hotter and will burn some juices.

Does the Kamry 20 have a spring loaded/floating center pin?

gerry, I also like alden's "mini" definition. Do you suggest we remove the devices that exceed these dimensions?

Oh, and UPDATE

I like that definition of "mini". ;) But I think we should include devices that come close as well. "Mini" means something different to each of us depending on hand size, disabilities (arthritis, etc), replaceable battery needs, etc.

I realize it's pretty new to me yet and untested for durability. But I'm seriously liking the 30W iStick. Until my Erlkonigin Nano gets off the slow boat, my 20watter will probably just sit on my shelf. For $35, if it only lasts 9 months to a year, we can throw it away and buy another or the newest and bestest thang!

For those who are vaping consistently around 25W, it might not get you through the day. I'm going to put a higher wattage build in my KFL+v2 and see how long the 30watter lasts in the 25W range.

The big question is how the new "sub-ohm" atomizers will effect the way we vape. They need more power to provide a satisfying vape. Will we vape less often and not need more battery life? Or will we burn through more battery charge just to get through the day? I think the answers to all of these questions will vary from person to person. If we adopt sub-ohm atomizers, we should be prepared to alter the way we deal with our mods, batteries, chargers, etc. The atomizer is what really gives us the vape we desire. The APV is simply supplying it with the power it needs to perform. Evolv's temperature protection does add another variable to the mix, however. We should simply be prepared to match the mod to the atomizer(s) for how and what we vape. I don't believe that there is currently one "perfect" APV for all of us.

I'm not worried about battery long-term longevity, I'm worried about just being able to vape when I want to vape how I want to vape, and a non-replaceable battery using "modern" power-hungry taste-exploding cloud-spewing toppers means I'm sucking cold air in about two hours, and no recourse but to wait for a charge or maybe be tethered to a USB cable if the device deigns to have pass-through charging.

So, no easily swapped standard size battery means it's fairly unsuitable to me.

Be a different story if I could stand to go back to the old and busted high-ohm clearos like a Nautilus where a 2000+mAh battery could last all day, but this is 2015 and those tanks just don't cut it for me anymore, it's like taking a shower in a raincoat.

Very good points. Again, it all depends on how and what we vape and what makes us happy. If someone is perfectly satisfied with their 20W iStick/Nautilus Mini setup, that's AWESOME. There is no NEED to change things up. If someone is perfectly happy with her/his Chevy Cobalt, why even throw a Corvette into the mix? Many extra considerations come into play when we go that route.

Like most things in life, our vaping gear comes down to our individual expectations. Simply wanting to avoid the stinkies is one thing. Expecting "perfection" will have us chasing our own tails and the newest and most expensive gear the rest of our lives.

I vape more. Lots more. It's less effort thanks to the very airy draw, it's more flavorful, overall I just ENJOY vaping more, so I do it more. Before, it was a necessity to feed the monkey on my back, with the potential to have a pleasant side effect of flavor and some mild satisfaction if I could find a clearo that did something that barely counted as a lung hit. Mouth to lung never quite cut it, and I never really looked for throat hit that much, just wasn't my thing.

Now, with the new breed of "off-the-shelf-fill-them-and-vape-sub-ohm" devices, the monkey gets fed and fed well, I get deep, fulfilling lung hits with instant nic gratification as well, loads and loads of flavor, and I find myself sucking down a lot of juice just because I enjoy it, not just because I have a nicotine addiction.

If I knew then what I knew now, I never would have dicked around with 2011-2013 clearomizers, I would have went straight to dripping, then to mechs and RDAs, then RTA regulated builds until about the end of 2014 when the sub ohm clearos and/or good affordable high wattage regulated mods hit the market.

I digress...this is going to be a great year for vapers (if government regulation doesn't screw things up) for both newcomers and veterans alike, and these little itty bitty regulated mods under $100 are a key factor in that.

Two minor edits for your spreadsheet....

It appears you have the battery info for the Smok Xpro M65 Plus (2x - 18650 Lipo non-replaceable 4400 mah) in the cell for the Smok Xpro M65 (65W) (1x -18650 Replaceable)

Smok was getting flack in reviews for having four screws to get to the battery for replacement, seems they went to 4400 mah non-replaceable as a solution.

Also the Kamry 20W is listed as having a 2000 mah 18650 but without any mention of a door or replacement, may be a 18650 similar to the istick, same size and shape as replaceable but soldered in for more re-sales.
I still don't think there is an actual dedicated 65w mini. I think there is some confusion with retailers between the 65 Plus and the ability to upgrade the M50 to 65w. I just find it hard to believe that they would announce a 65w version of the Mini when the M50 just came out a few weeks ago.

Heck some 50's aren't even out yet. But as of this afternoon I saw IPV mini 70 so I guess that eliminates all previous and lesser units, right?

@Kat uuuu humm I meant when I had my iStick in my hand, hell that don't sound any better. I'll just slink off now and go drippin.

 I'm not so sure you saved yourself with that last line either. ;)

On the spreadsheet the Sigelei mini links to gearbest.
Here is a link for a better price, and it looks as though the black is in stock.

Vapor Range | Sigelei Mini 30W 30 Watt Variable Wattage Box Mod - Sigelei - Variable Voltage Your Online Vape Store for Mechanical Mods , Rebuildable Dripper RBA's RDA's , and Juice

Thankya whodat. Updated. :)

Ahhhh..... another life lesson learned via vaping. It's going in my book, alden. You shall be famous.

Does the Kamry 20 have a spring loaded/floating center pin?

Yes sir it does.

WANT A COLUMN FOR THAT??
:D

@Croak The speed at which innovation has over-taken our little hobby here is mind blowing. You are absolutely right that the coming year will be exciting for those running on the cutting edge.

Yes, but please do be careful not to slip.

ONLY if you think it's appropriate--everyone totally trusts your columnar judgment!
