I only got those Aspire coils because Kat's been bugging me for years about them and since I already had a STM, I figured it couldn't hurt to try.

This year, and next, I intend to bug you even more. But this time it will be a request that you somehow procure 17 million dollarinos, and split them with all friends named Kat.

Good. I'm thinking there might need to be a tank & coil compatability thread, complete with spreadsheet since so many are crossing over with other brands. I think the atlantis V2 coil works with apx 1O tanks now. There's compatability with GS and egrip. It's handy to know.
and I loose track.

Yes'm? Spreadsheet needed? Welp, as my feathered bud says....

I'm on it...

I've not changed much at all. Pretty much the same two coils for... Idunno... 18 months?

Kat - do YOU know how long we've been using these options?

Precisely 20 months.

No, that was actually a bit early for the Naughties and the BVCs. I think that may have been an Aspire Vivi Nova, with BDCs at that point in time. Non mi ricordo.

Great sleuthing Kata -- but that would have been the first Aspire coils, the BDC's....and far from the BVC's that KDarling & DPDarling aspire to use for the past XX months.;)

The Nautilus BVC's were introduced with the Mini Nautilus in July 2014 (or possibly as early as June 2014).

As I'm sure most here know Aspire does make the Aspire BVC and the Nautilus BVC. The original BDC's can still be seen at stores, will fit the same atty tanks, but are not on people's favorite list. :)

Katya...the site does not elaborate...

Are the the small hole ones...or the bigger hole ones?

Are they the ceramic ones or the cotton ones???

$6.06 Authentic Aspire BVC Clearomizer Replacement Coil Head (5-Pack) 5-pack - 2.1ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Gerrymi --- I really don't think there are any authentic small hole/ceramic paper coils in the market place anymore----for either the BVC or the Nautilus BVC.

We need Kat to make a spread sheet of which coils fit in which tanks !!!

Okie dokie!!!!!! I can't wait!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the effort Kat. While doing so, could you please make a separate column listing the inner coil diameters?
Thanks

But of COURSE, dahlink!

fingers crossed behind back.JPG

It's quite a bit longer, but it is wedge shaped 16-22mm. Can anyone calculate the volume?... Kat?

Ha ha HA ha HA!!!!!!!! Sure! It's like a thumb by half a finger times one and half tanks without a drip tip.

How'd I do, zoiD? :)

hahahaha, incredible. thanks!!!
But where does it rank now? :)

Wicks, you DO know you have full access to the (now infamous) spreadsheet, yes? Have at it, hon!

I know, I know. I was just kidding. Kat and yours truly have been following Aspire and their offerings from the very beginning.

I agree. I don't think anyone is selling those anymore, not even FT.

Though I very rarely even get a chance to even lurk this thread, I am so so glad it is still here. For months I've pretty much had to stay away, as it's just too tempting to add to my over-stuffed collection.

2015 was the year of the itty bitty for me and certainly happily indulged. I really value the work some of you have done to show the deals (you reading this gerrymi?) and new products shown. The feedback on the one's purchased has been very valuable, too.

So thanks to everyone for being you -- and a nice place to visit!

Sounds reasonable, but why 17? :D

We'd have to convince manufacturers and 9 million vapers. "WE" don't have the power to force anyone to do squat. That sorta ends the daydream for me.

Nopers, we sure as hell don't have that power, but the power of the public speaks volumes. All we need do is to get the skateboard gen on board, and watch the market change. Is that not precisely what happened with clouding? High/max VG? Sub ohming? I'm still not fully sure how the circular motion works, and whether it is us as consumers who form the market, or China, as the supplier, who does so. My guess is they respond to what they THINK we want.

Paul, it does appear that the P3 connector is not being made a priority anywhere....... yet. It IS a superior connector, in all ways, but sadly, most of us are NOT going to give up on all our 510 devices, not without kicking and screaming all the way home.

I am looking forward to the upcoming adapter that will allow the use of a P3 topper on a 510 bottom. But even that will have weak points and disadvantages.

Yup. BDCs.

Why not? Got a "better" number in mind? I'm reasonable. I'll work with ya on this. teehee.

Love the centered 510.

The Athena is cute, no doubt whatsoever. And I for one, really do love the centered connection! That was one of the (many) draws for me with the Defenders. I'm juggling attributes now, but not in a very clear way, attempting to see the similarities and differences between this Athena, and my Defender 50.

Wish someone had a spreadsheet on these things!!!!!!!

ATHENA-35W vapor box with repalaceable 18650 battery

That is a Darn Small Mod for one that has a Replaceable 18650 Battery.

Ok, got it. The Athena is a dab smaller than the Defender.

78.1mm vs. 85mm (6.9mm or 0.271654 inches)
33.9mm vs. 38mm (4.1mm or 0.161417 inches)
21.9mm vs. 23mm (1.1mm or 0.0433071 inches)

tearose, I'm very glad and appreciative to have you say this. This thread has meant a lot to me over the last year. It's been an amazing journey! The applause goes to you guys, really. You've been contributing, adding, causing giggles galore, and just having a great time.

I thank you, truly.

Are you using Metric Thumbs and 1/2 Fingers? Or Imperial English digits?

Is that site for real or is it just a scam site? If it's for real, I'm gonna do a huge-... order there, prepping for EU-legislation and vapocalypse... [emoji44] [emoji51]

If it seems to good to be true it (probably) is. :)
It maybe a legit site with a compromised database I really don't know.

Could also be all items marked as 0.00 for security reasons and you need an actual store to register an account to see the real prices.

Yeahh, site's been showing zeros all across the board for a year or so. Must be that you can only see the real prices with a store account.

Edit: Damn, times like these makes me want to own a vape store :I That kinds sucks though, that you can't compare prices between suppliers without accounts

Yeah I don't shop at places that are not upfront about the price. :)
