It's BRUTAL, Delilah, as you well know. And my AC took a lightning hit last night, so has been out of service since. They're trying to fix it now, but I'm fearing the worst for the coming weekend.

It's oppressive already, and it's not even 10:00.

Oh man, I can't "Like" THAT post! The heat and humidity has been oppressive enough this summer and suppose to get even worse. I'd go out and buy a window A/C to get me through the rest of this month and if they fix the damaged one you'll have a backup.

Is anyone tracking what's going on in Pennsylvania right now? I think this goes Way Beyond ridiculous right into offensive! Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't there some sort of fight over taxation without representation at some point in American history? They levied a 40% on wholesale tax on vapers, and vapers only. Where was the representation? Never before has such an obvious money grab been performed. If ever proof was needed that the health and well-being of the populace (and small business) was a non-issue , and that money was all that mattered, here it is!

Glad it's fixed. Temps are getting high enough that even my dog won't go outside. Instead, she's just napping on myher leather chair that's right by the AC. And, she'll still expect her cookie after dinner anyway. What a lazy pup.

Such an opportunity actually exists this time around, in a rare set of circumstances, but I'm not sure enough people are truly paying attention to the point we'd need to take our freedoms back. But if we choose to, now might be a decent time to roll the dice (before it completely escapes our grasps).
