Looks like hcigar fixed the 2 issues that I HATED about my Nano. The 510 looks like it's secured with 2 screws and the threading for the battery cap is better (could it get worse?).

But... It's a 26650 with an adapter for a 18650. So it's a bit chubby.

Some of us prefer the term, "Big boned", but yeah - it's got a bit of that going on. ;)

Not terrible though, and VERY glad to see they changed the 510.

I'm still on "Wait" list, but it's not as bad as I thought it would be. I like it - THANKS, KTM!

Unexpectedly, and somewhat amazingly (to me), JAC jumped to the front of my line too. I know that I speak for at least one other person in that regard too.

It's actually changed the way we've been seeing potential mods. Or, better yet, what MIGHT have been potential mods. In comparison, for us at least, pretty much everything comes up short.

Just waiting to see if a DNA75C drops next. Even if slightly larger there will be no hesitation.

I thought I read somewhere that JAC was already incorporating the 75C into a new mod. I'm hoping this will just be an updated B-Series. The new chip has loads of "Tinkering" potential for me[emoji851] so I'm all in as well...

Yessir. They've indicated at least a fair possibility that it will happen. They haven't quite committed, but they did tell numerous folks (one we both know rather well) to keep an eye on their website and social media pages.

If'n I was a betting person... :2c:

MY (limited) understanding is that the functionality is built into the device, no longer requiring a connection. Kind of like how we can change stuff on our phones, without being connected to anything. Does that make sense?

Shawn or KTM are probably both more qualified than I though, since I rarely connect my mods.

In fact, my SX Mini has NEVER been connected. I don't even have the software on my machine. The funny thing is that vapor STILL comes out every time I push the button though. ;)

{grunt}

Escribe, with the DNA60/75/133/167/209/250 allows the device to be fine tuned (curves, preheat, and TFR/TCR adjustments), testing, and monitored (when attached). With the C boards, that information can be adjusted on the device. You'll still need to connect for monitoring, and testing.

Thanks — makes sense now.

Jac in Technicolor NICE!!! Beyond that I don’t see myself tinkering with the 75C. As the famous Vaper, @Katdarling once said — "Press button, vape, say ahhhhhhhhh.”

Jac is tall, dark and handsome with the perfect physique!!! :)

I can relate to the Jac's reportedly superior hand comfort qualities...

[Although, since it has a Fire BUTTON, it's hard, for me, to imagine that its comfort (in use) surpasses the Wismec Presa or SMOK AL85...]

However...for a person who's a confirmed MTL vaper, has never been over 16 Watts, has no interest in TC and would be too stupid to figure out Escribe...would (s)he notice any difference in their "vaping experience" with the Jac???

[Am asking because $40 is the most I have ever spent for a Mod.]

It's subjective (HA!) but I find the DNA (40 and up, not the 20s) & Yihi chips provide a smoother vape (power mode vaper too) than the others. The Wismec chips (along with Innokin & VO) are nice though - I like them a lot. I don't have any SMOK mods so I don't know there.

On the button, one potential downside (not for me) is that it's TOO light. If I hold it in my hand, then turn it sideways (button over thumb), it fires.

eScribe, schmeScribe. Meh!

Push, vape, grunt.

I, personally, have never used anything like it. It's basically just shy of a tube, but with an 18650. I believe it's about the size of a Provi in 18350 mode (which is absolutely useless to me).

@Katdarling - is that correct, or is it closer to 18490 mode?

What other mods have the same (or same-ish) form factor as the Pico? I've got an AL85 and the Hana One. I just love the size of them. I've got an itch for a new mod, or 2 or 3. Just haven't found anything that jumps at me yet.

All right, I'll go with a 25. Seems fitting.... Somehow I managed to lose one of my Picos yesterday. Tore the house apart looking for it. Suppose I'll find it next year stashed in some really dumb spot.

And whoa, I like the funk! Totally need that, and it's cheap too. Color is a gamble so that is kinda fun. Thanks for that link!

Funky ordered! Let's see what color I end up with.

Oh, I want to know which one you get! Please post about it.

I'll have to wait a while to get more mods. I'm in atty-buying mode right now. I usually switch back and forth.

LOL! So true. From my understanding, the DNA75C has all it's bells and whistles integrated on the board, so there's no external software to use/worry about.

I did connect THREE SX Minis to upgrade/update, and did not ONCE utilize any of the features. I'm just obliged when I see "YOU'VE GOT UPDATES".

It's not you, it's me.

FOUR buttons! I like buttons. Buttons are good.

The old anti-Provi crowd will be need to be doused in cold water with FOUR buttons to play with now.

In all seriousness though, it IS one I'll likely jump at, once they wash it in hot water (or throw it into a cold swimming pool). Shrinkage is shrinkage, and the method is irrelevant to me.

HAAAAAAAAAA!! Buttons are maaaaaaaaavelous, but you are such a pants on fire!

Ahem. I believe we like to refer to it as FLUFFY.

I SAID THAT?? ahahhahaha! (I stole it from the Longolino, yep yep.)

Tiz true tho, NSM. Alllllllll the colors and buttons and sizes and materials - be dayumed. I JUST WANNA VAPE.

And say "Ahhhhhhhhhhh".

Gerry, tough one here. The Jac/Jackie is truly superior in hand feel/comfort than most any other I've used, and that DOES include the Preggers. Yes, truly. The fire button on the Jac is SUCH a soft throw that it pretty much becomes a trigger fire, like the Presa, or the Rolo. And, in fact, it's actually a lot more comfy to fire than either of those (for me). (yes, I own all three.)

I have ZERO use for Escribe. I did d'load it once and put a couple of silly Boop gifs on my Hcigar Fred Nano, but that was the end of the excitement of Escribe for me. Others will find it MUCH more useful in configuring their vapes.

I remain a simple vaperette. Please refer to NotSoMini's quote above.

WOMP. There it is.

Gonna make me DRAG out the cell phone, aren'tcha. Ok....... back in a bit with yet more comp pics.

Only for you, Longo. ;)
