Look on the "bright" side. When has a cable company ever shown up when they say they will? Like....never?I think I'd already gone to bed at 1:13am; can you believe it, Comcast is actually sending someone out today, to see why one of our boxes works sometimes and doesn't work most of the time -- after giving us the 2-weeks song and dance when that idiot truck driver knocked the cable completely off our house! But the only time they had available? Between 8am and 10am.I didn't bother telling them that was right smack in the middle of my sleep time, or they would probably have reverted to the 2-week song and dance.
Looks like I'll be taking a nap this afternoon.

said "in the morning," when I talked to them last night. So I rescheduled, supposedly for Mon Nov 16, between 3-5pm... so I won't have to get up so dadgum early, and it's 2 days earlier than the appt she SAID was this morning, but really wasn't until next Wed.
