So. Are you telling me that next week is NOT the White Friday Sale? I get so konfuse'd. :D

(I still think it's beyond odd to have different prices for the same device in a dif. color!)

That's the only reason I had any recollection of the ones a saw.

Who is in charge of remembering to check white prices in January? I'll forget by Monday.

@Kent C is this the deal/mod you were talking about earlier?
Kanger Kbox Mini 50W Variable Wattage Box Mod VV VW Mod

That's my favorite but the inquiries about clones - from Wayne at HG and Phil at, well Phil's site :- ) ... both say Kanger has said that any spring loaded kbox minis out there now are clones. Their next release will be spring loaded but none are out yet - I didn't check today.

The one I recently got as a replacement for two Defenders that ended up not in stock was from CaptainKanger - a Kangertech vendor - has the first batch as a kit for $63 - pretty good price for the kit. And it has the scratch off Kanger security thing. The only topper that hasn't fit is the Joyetech eGo One tank. All others work fine. I also have the madvapes circuit spacers just in case - which work fine on others.

Hey Kent. I forgot about the pin thing. Is it adjustable in any way, or is it one of those things where she's just going to have to deal with it?

I fear the repercussions.

Great! I don't want Kat to have any angst over a fashion faux pas.

Oh like I've never had a mod*ular fashion faux paw! I do believe in white post Labor Day. And I mean REAL white, not that fake off-white schtuff. ;)

The blue kit comes with the blue mod with blue buttons, blue subtank mini with blue orings and drip tip, blue display lighting, blue charge cord.

Welp, you know what I always say, Paul.

Love is.

Lol. The pin is one of the best sealed pins I've seen - as discussed way back it is 'spongy' rather than rigid but definitely not spring load in the true Kangers. On the Gearbest site - in the Q&A someone asks 'is this the new one with the spring loaded 510' and the answer is yes. Kanger, as I've understood from a few sources considered it but had some problems with the kbox regular mod. One comment (quick search) gives what problems they had with it:

"Be very careful to not over tighten the 510. The rubber O-Ring will break and the spring loaded pin will push its O-Ring back into the box."

So with the Kbox mini they went with a good sealed pin fixed. There was some discussion on the Kangertech facebook page from the poster 'Kanger techguy' or something indicating that he works there.
