Well... I'm looking for a sillycon vape band or two; you know, to protect my vape, and maybe some glass tank, too. And, man o' man, I hate the thought of paying like $5 or more for those $0.28 sillycon things. So, where to get them?

Has anyone else had issues with MFS Black Friday orders? I ordered 3 packs of coils, got an email receipt, my account was debited, but no shipping confirmation. I went to their site and logged in but it says I have placed NO orders.
I know the site was having issues so I'm wondering if my session was hijacked and hackers took my order...
Anyone else have issues like this?

MFS was having periodic server issues over the last three or four days. If your account info doesn't list your order but they debited your account, call them immediately on their toll free #. Get that worked out ASAP. I placed an order with them last evening and the shipping label was created a few hours ago.

I used their contact form and submitted the info, didn't think of phoning because it's late in the evening (well, after normal business hours)...
We know that FDA sympathy is BS. It's a way to get us to back off. The 2014 deeming draft, as extreme as it sounded then, had a small element of compromise and logic next to huge swaths of vague voids. Well that was a deceptive ruse. The actual final document (which I think they had in mind the whole time) is a declaration of war on vaping. No mercy, no compromise, no logic outside the media hyperbole. There is no doubt now. The FDA has no intention of changing it's opinion ever.This is soooo confusing. There was an article in OC Register some time ago and it quoted a nice FDA spokesman who said the following:
“Under the proposed rule, all newly deemed tobacco products would require market authorization” from the agency, Felberbaum noted. He added that the FDA is sympathetic to the concerns of small businesses and is proposing to stagger the compliance dates."
Whatever that means. But they are sympathetic.

Sorry to bear the bad news. While we discuss this, they are busy on the hill devising ways to stop any black market from forming and to nullify any percieved compromise. From day one the FDA's position has been that nicotine is a drug and ecigs are a drug delivery device only now they DO have the legal authority to enforce that claim. That's not an over reach any longer.
That doesn't mean the jig is up. It does mean we need to be smart. We can't be lulled into thinking it's possible to be reasonable dealing with crazy. I'd feel a lot more secure knowing that there's a route for a black market.

I've ordered those vape rings for around $2 each when I was just shy of free shipping.
Survived Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Nothing really grabbed me. I did order some subtank mini parts, bell cap $1.95, ss base $5.95, oring sets $1.45 and a couple of drip tips. I have coils and another RBA so I can make a STM out of the parts. I passed on the V1 RBA since the V2 is working well for me.
Imagine how much new stuff will hit the shelves in the next few weeks.

The FDA has been working on this since 2009 when they first tried it and got thrown out of court. They've had LOTS of time to plan. I think they'll lose in the end. But, that end may be in 20 or 30 years. Eventually, it'll all end up being thrown out. But, I may be dead before that happens. So, I'm preparing.
And, this 2 year window? Not likely. Not only is it likely to be something along the lines of their 'sympathy', meant to lull us into not being prepared; but, state and local governments act much faster. For example, it's already been illegal for a few months to ship vape supplies into or out of Louisiana.
I had not heard this. Wow...that bites! I used to live in New Orleans and have some family in Shreveport. So...no one vapes there? Or are there vape shops there (how could they ship in supplies?) What do they do?
Chicago is working on a 95 cent per ml tax on juice. That's $28.50 TAX on a 30 ml bottle. No FDA required. State legislatures, many of which have had repressive bills beaten back for the last two sessions, will soon be back. Not all have been as draconian as Louisiana's, but...
