AFAIK, Kanger makes three versions of the Kbox--the original Kbox (big). sold separately; the mini (comes as part of the subox kit only, per Kanger, via Kent :D); and now the new Kbox mini platinum TC.

https://www.ave40.com/store/kanger-kbox-mini-platinum-60w-tc-box-mod.html?tracking=560619ea044df

The Platinum comes with TC, more watts and an adjustable center pin.

This isn't what I saw but it'll do. Take a look at this product page ...

imo it's horribly confusing. What's a top box?
I was surprised since Kanger's usually so sleek.

Ummm... what did you see? :)

Top box, per their description, looks like the newest addition to their nano line (kits only, mod a bit smaller than the mini, tank with no RBA)--nano mod, nano tank filled from the top, not bottom like other subtanks. IOW, a variation on a nano kit.

Everything else is the same; Kbox (big, bigger and biggest); mini (kit only or Platinum TC sold separately, and nano (kits only, top box comes with top filled tank).

... still waiting on my shipping confirmation from Wismec for the Presa 75W TC that I won. Doesn't look like a Christmas present.

But I did buy myself another Evic VT for $30 less than I paid for my first one, and picked up a not so itty bitty iStick 100W and some LG Browns for the vaporapocaylpse. I was going to grab a Reuleaux RX200, but decided to stick with the Evic VT; was tempted with the Coolfire IV Plus, too, but the price point per mAh was better with the Evic VT ;) Tried and true. ;)

I really like the idea of Kanger's new NEBOX. It hits so many check boxes. But without adjustable airflow, unfortunately, it seems to be one size fits some and certainly not a choice for tootle puffers... After they've been on the streets for awhile, we'll see if there's a good user implemented method for adjusting the airflow.

I bought 2 Jedis from VapeNW during their Black Friday sale. I like them a lot. They're very small, just a smidge bigger than an iStick 30w, and they use a removable battery, which I'm big on right now.

ETA: Where are you seeing sales on them? I might buy a couple more for the right price.

Searched "Mini Jedi 50W" on Vapecrawler...the only place they show carrying them was VapeNW ($24.99):

Mini Jedi 50W by KingCig $24.99

How about $45.99...Code KBOXMINI makes it $39.55...

I received the Coolfire IV Plus that I won in the Innokin contest today. It came as a kit with the iSub Apex tank.

As an unexpected bonus, they also sent a Coolfire IV kit with an iSub G tank.

Edit; Not an iSub G, just the polycarbonate iSub tank.

I am blown away!

I'm not sure what I'll do with these since I'm a tootle puffer who has only dabbled in sub ohm a few times. I'm fighting the urge to open one or both.

I'm so impressed by Innokin right now that I can't put it into words.

Woo Hoo

They have a 2.0 ohm coil for the isubs. Not sure if you can get the airflow tight enough to tootle but they do make the coils.

That's good to know.

Not sure if I'm a true tootle puffer. Maybe I'm a modwomper. I don't vape subohm but I do DTL with all my tanks and RDAs, even when I was using CE4s. The extra air flow might be welcome as long as it's not too loose.

I really like my GS Tanks with the 1.5 coils. I'm using one at about 16 watts right now.

gandy, I've just started using the iSub tank I won with my Disrupter and if you lung hit it, you can get a pretty nice vape. The airflow can be turned way down. I'm using a 2 ohm coil in it, not the .5 ohm one.

Just out of curiosity... what does airflow have to do with a mod? That's more of an "atty thang" isn't it?

concerns:
  • getting juice INSIDE internals during fill ups
  • what if you drop/break the tank glass
  • how the heck are ya gonna clean the tank out

:w00t:

Definitely not a perfect device. As I am vaping primarily (85%) unflavored, cleaning the tank becomes somewhat less important. The tank is plastic, which probably means no tank crackers (not a big deal for unflavored juice). You break the tank, you buy a new mod. Filling the tank looks easy but some care is warranted.

I would only use it with unflavored e-liquid and make it my ADV. I have plenty of other options for flavored e-liquids. It seems to be a good, pocketable mod.

I don't know if this one's been mentioned, I'm not even sure where it belongs, side by side? It sure is a cutie imo. I see a lot of pre orders for it with chinese dealers, projected shipping date is Dec 12th.

I saw this. It's a great concept. My only two issues: no power adjustment and limited to 14mm attys. Not sure I'm willing to live with those limitations, even for the $20 price tag. My VTR is a heavy beast, though...
