It sure is purty though...
That it does (thanks).. I've got quite a weakness for SS stuff. I wonder if it looks that good in person.
Love the Vapor. Beast sale prices for.the black ones!

I never would have thought about the weight increase due to platinum. I've been eyeing those because I wanted ss rather than the painted finish. Wonder why they did that?

With the pending & obvious regulations, I'm now subconsciously looking at each device that attracts my attention thinking, "Idunno, that's half a Provi."
I wish I knew for a fact that some of them would have a similar lifespan, but absent of that, it's difficult for me to justify not just adding Provi's where I can.
I cannot do mechs. I've tried. "Variable" is an absolute essential option for me. V or W matters not.
But $80 for a guaranteed 4 or more year run? I'm close to having what I need, even under the most conservative projections.
Better yet, vote the regulators out, and get the legislation overturned. Because yes, it CAN happen.
All this assumes failure of HR2058, which might still prevail (even though it's tenuous at the moment). Never stop fighting though.
Please.

Hmmm...... having said that, and being a woman, I have full rights to change my mind.
Because......
It is now precisely 26 days since I posted this:
I've arrived!

Thank you, @DPLongo22 ......it!!
And thank you, @Kent C, for putting up with my Kbox mini shenanigans for all this time!

it weighs about as much as a Prius
Don't do it.
Right. I like new toys... And new technology, so I"ve been thoroughly enjoying trying all those new, fun, inexpensive box mods. The ones I have are all very good, knock on wood, but I realize that any of them may just refuse to cooperate at any given time. I factor this in.
I got my ProVari mini (V2.5) years ago, but it has aged. The interface is ridiculous, and the battery life in both regular and mini configurations is pathetic. I really don't use it much anymore. I prefer box mods. If/when the Vapocalypse happens, God forbid, I'll probably just get the Radius, but even the Radius is only as good as its circuit board... If that fails, and ProVape is no longer in business, the Radius is just as bad a choice as any $30 Chinese mod...
Only a true mech is FDA-proof, but I, just like you, don't even want to contemplate that option.
Oh, it's pretty! I was just trying to decide whether I wanted another black or a white mod.
Thanks for the picture! White it is! It will match my Prius!![]()
Hey...!
Why is everyone always making fun of my car.![]()
Thank you, my friend. I had no idea it was so heavy. I hate heavy mods. Whew! I almost bought one...

The KBOX Mini "Platinum" is made out of stainless steel, though there was a bit of confusion, apparently, when it was first announced. SS is much heavier than the materials most of us are used to.

And as @DavidOck knows, I already have ONE very heavy, stainless steel, little mod (Ola!). Now I'll have TWO...
I agree, but I do have 3 mechs in the stash. But they'll be "regulated" until each of their Kicks die!
I have two of the Ola's, one in each hand helps me maintain my balance.![]()
And it's funny, but I MUCH prefer the old interface to the new one, and I DON'T want any mod that I need to connect to my computer. Keep it nice and simple for me, please.
I'm with you on the box mods, Katya, but for stockpiling, I just can't think of a better option than $80 old Provis (cheaper at some re-sellers), based on the way I vape.
You know, it occurred to me... While there is no doubt in my mind that Provaris are a gold standard for quality, Innokin has proven themselves a reasonably competent mod maker as well. In the style of the old Provis, for $40, there is the SVD v2; single 18350/18650 tube mod, 20W and an Evolv chipset. While there was a lot of moaning upon release that it was "only 20W", I have heard nothing but good things about them. Two for the cost of a Provi seems an interesting alternative for tootlers.
Mods : iTaste SVD2.0
Amongst my arsenal, I have one SVD1 and two SVD2 mods.
Haven't had any issues with the buttons on the SVD2. Nice, sturdy and well made device.
My SVD1, now almost 3, did have the fire button lose it's "click", but other than no tactile or audio feedback, still performs as well as when it was new.
And yep, I'm not particularly interested in non-removeable battery devices anymore, no matter how well made! While the technical aspects of a battery swap are well within my skill set, hunting down the right one just isn't something I care to do. Not when swapping out an 18650 is so quick and easy - and available!

I agree, but I do have 3 mechs in the stash. But they'll be "regulated" until each of their Kicks die!
Ours were both the 2's. They were nice - VERY cool looking.
My skill set involves looking around to find the best prices for replacements.![]()

Good to know what's within - and beyond! - personal capabilities! Less chance of getting a Darwin award![]()

The SVD2 is probably the most comfortable to hold tube in my collection. Although the "antique" Tesla VV, the odd triangular profile one - comes close. Being as it's aluminum, really light. Have two of those as well, and they've been real workhorses for me. Good tootlers![]()
