Is BBV a new Provape side by side? ;)

Well, since they (more-or-less) broke ground with their original (fully contained) designed, I expect some similar ingenuity with their next variation. I doubt they'll change the basic design TOO much, from the current, simply because it's so popular. But I am thinking that they might possible add power & longevity to the mix.

That's simply a guess though, as they're playing things very close to the vest. I don't blame them either.

Indications from their FB posts are that we can probably expect something fairly soon. My guess is one Saturday morning, the old will be OUT and the new will be IN. They've already announced that they've produced their last batch of the Rev 3.a models, so it could be anytime.

I still won't offload my Xvo's, because they truly are THAT good. But the reliability of an authentic BBV is well-known, and there are only few who compare. Investment, for me, is absolutely inevitable. I've put my current BB's through absolute Hell, and they've never even once missed a fire. They're truly amazing little devices, that fit into any pants pocket, and are close to unnoticeable there.

There are currently seven (BB's) in the Longo Family lineup (five vapers), and the ONLY problem came when one incurred an usually bad drop, by a daughter. She was without it for less than one week, and it came back fully repaired, and back to full-functionality (without costing her/me a penny, which it SHOULD have, given the incident in question).

Of the five vapers, I am the only one who uses anything in addition to the BB. All others simply refuse...

I am quite fond of the company, but I guess that's clear.

I thought you might appreciate the humor of the entire situation. After reading this post, I simply want to know what you guys vape in Southern California. :)

Oh, it's called It Never Rains, of course. It's a lovely blend of fruit and nuts...

Alden, BBV is Billet Box Vapor (Billet Box Vapor Inc.).

Like DPL's experience, mine have been nothing but stellar with BBV. From the very first look at these, (December, 2012) I knew I would love them. They instantly jumped up to top spot in the arsenal. As much I love the XVO schtick, if I HAD to say g'bye to one or the other, that would be a no brainer. The B Box is THAT good, that unique. A completely self-contained bit of perfection in vaping. Now we're all sitting on pins and noodles waiting for the next magnificent creation to roll out. It will be soon!

I realize neither of these marvelous mods fit into our little itty bitty category price wise. So, forgive the interlude.

They are just so damm kool!!!!! :D

Add the Santa Anna winds to the fruits and nuts and you have ambrosia. :D

The B Boxes have always intrigued me. I started vaping a couple years into their run, just about the time the Bridge was released. The Diver is also a great option. I do have a cheap carto-tank that I ran a half-dozen Joy 510s through. The draw is way too tight for me. I've been hoping that BBV would re-imagine the design. I love Kanger's NEBox for exactly this reason. But there is no way to close down the NEBox's airflow, which is too airy for me. I can't wait to see what BBV has come up with!

I am intrigued by an modder who states this is "our most badger resistant model to date."

But they have broken a cardinal rule, how big is the damn thing, they don't say on the website.
I hate that, I hate that with a passion.
It's like sites that sell attys with no pictures of the deck!

Also 4 volts is kinda high power for me. Seriously! :smokie:

They are beautifully, design and style a plenty.

Considering the BB was originally intended to power 2-3Ω cartomizers, 4V ain't so hi. ;)

The BB is approximately 103*54*21.5mm. It's actually beyond our itty bitty limits. Since there is no topper to add, however, it's reasonably smallish.

Here ya go, Woofer. This will help since you have something to compare it to.

And the "airflow control" is THE most ingenious part. More on that later...

The 'Burgh, PA.
Vpark v-box30w goes somewhere there : 22 x 41 x 55mm

I still cannot decide whether to buy that one or to go with my fav Mini volt.

Or I will just go to istick 30 w (which I can get for appx 10 USD)
Have to use a cash coupon, and they don't and won't have mini volts :( :(

Well...Damir...the Vpark V-BOX30 was absent from my "OCD Mini Mod List"...because I had not run across it in my e-cig internet travels...

It's 49,610 mm³ size would put it right between the slightly smaller KSD Mini-40W and the slightly larger KSD Mini-25W on the List.

I, myself, quit considering the COV Mini Volt when I found out about the..."no use for 15 minutes => auto OFF => 6 clicks of Fire Button to turn ON"...hassle

Re: iStick-30W...if (when?) the feral gubmint decides (by edict from The Department of Redundancy Department) that all Amerikans must choose only one Mod to use...when the MCA (Mod Confiscation Agents) leave my home...I'll still have my iStick-30W's to enjoy...

And, as previously mentioned, the "airflow control"...

The top picture shows it with the airflow wide open. See those three little holes? Welp, THAT'S IT!

In the second, I've pressed those holes up against my hand. Depending on the pressure, the airflow changes. It's so good that, for someone like me that spends a LOT of time on phone calls, I can make it literally silent (yet still get a nice, decent vape).

I don't know what to expect from the next version, but this feature alone makes the current BB almost invaluable to me. I can vape anywhere, anytime, without ever having to worry about being noticed.

When I first figured that out (so many moons ago), I exclaimed, "It's got a built in silencer!!!!"

"Do you even VAPE, bro?!?!?";)

No, you don't.

"There was a desert wind blowing that night. It was one of those hot dry Santa Anas that come down through the mountain passes and curl your hair and make your nerves jump and your skin itch. On nights like that every booze party ends in a fight. Meek little wives feel the edge of the carving knife and study their husbands' necks. Anything can happen. You can even get a full glass of beer at a cocktail lounge."

Gotta love hi-tech AFC and silencers for stealth vaping! And we all thought a B Box was antiquated.

The Santa Ana winds are well fabled for making people (more) crazy. The hot, dry air gets mixed with Katdarling's fruits and nuts and creates wonderful stories for telling around the campfire...

Lived in California for 5 years. Being from the Midwest, never experienced anything like them - before or after anywhere - interesting and I liked them. Constantly, and over a longer period of time - probably not

Moved there when I started HS junior year (service brat.) Got my BA from Cal State Long Beach 6 years later, and stayed in the basin for several more, before taking the family up to Big Bear for another 3. Moved up here in '79 for work.

Yeah, and the worst part of the SAs was they always got worse in fire season, aka March - December
