Any one want to comment on screen color preference. Does one show up better than the other?

Most peeps want the blue. In fact, years ago, it was extra $$ to get it. I find all 3 colors to be just fine. I don't spend much time looking at the screen, so it has never made a huge deal of difference to me.

So, @dplongo with or without digital display? How do you know volts without?

Okay, I'm not an idiot, just uninformed. The listings at provape had 2.5's with digital display or just 2.5's. I never held a provari (or seen one in person), so I didn't know that all of the 2.5's came with a display. I was please, because only red and blue were listed as having digital displays and I really wanted the pearl or the hybrid.

Welp, D'oh! We were, weren't we!

But in all fairness, Kent, that was like soooooooooooo 2015. ;)

I saw DeL's 'likes' on the thread - hence 'already there' but yeah, I don't follow every thread and new shiny object... lol.... even less so recently. I know you got a sbs a while back but can't nail which one - XVO?? I still have the microstick but it sits in a drawer now.

Yes, you hammered correctly. We picked up a few of the XVOs from Mini. They're called the Travelers now (as they've made a few trips back and forth from the Holy Land).

I'm hopeful they last for a good long time, as nothing beats the design of these little guys. Yet, I'd be hard-pressed to recommend them because of the past CS. I THINK they (Mini) are struggling to do a better job for their customers, but it's really a question of how much risk one can tolerate.

You didn't like the microstick?

Bought it in classies just before the istick came out. And of course before the Defender - where I went after 3 failed isticks. Prefer regulated.... basically.

Now... Have some questions for the ProVari owners here. I'd ask in the Provarinati threads but I know the answers I'd get there. ;) I trust the posters here.

I'm generally vaping in the 15-18W range now. The ProVari 2.5 only goes to 15W correct?

Is there really a difference in the quality of vape twixt the ProVari and other "high end" mods; ie DNAs, YiHis, Dicodes, etc? Is the ProVari power that much cleaner/better?

As much as I'd like to own a ProVari, I'm not really a fan of tube mods. I'm wondering if I should just take the $30 and put it towards a SbS/AIO or squonker. Now if a Radius blem was up for $30, there would be no question of grabbing one.

Alden, as much as I'd love to chime in an answer, I cannot. I can say that the vape from my DNA40s are smooth as silk, and the vape from my (*lowly* ha ha) little 6v Provi 2s is equally smooth as buttah. You'd prolly have to check with Senor Busardo for the numbers and the math. :) The Provi power is definitely clean. I cannot provide what I think you want tho.

I'm so relieved! I am a sucker for green, as you know (my obsession with the VV3 Nature Edition Forest Vine...lol! Remember?)

Do I remember! LOL! I was obsessing along WITH you when I ordered a few of the green vines!! :D

In all aspects of tech, there are better devices, and mostly cheaper. However, NOBODY can match it's reputation for durability. That all state guy has had the same one for years..
