I did just get an Athena 35 . It is the same size as an I Stick. And it takes an 18650 battery. However wasn't happy with it for 3 reasons. 1. No way to lock voltage. 2. Installing a new battery is a pain too many threads to unscrew.3. No spring loaded 510

Recently posted in this tread (I think) were pictures/descriptions of 2 mods that looked pretty interesting (based on their [slender] size)...the ATHENA-15W and the Nano-N4 35W.

But when I search to maybe buy one (or both) of them on Vapecrawler...I get "No Results"...

Are they available to purchase (yet?) in the US???

15W Super Mini Box Mod ATHENA-15W

Nano-N4 35w box mod

Athena 15W - Yellow only
Athena 15W BOX Mini Mod - VAPES

Athena 35W - Black and Silver
Athena 35W Mod

I have no experience with either company.

My Provari Mini also arrived today along with a DID and a MiniMicro which I promptly broke the glass on. Sigh... This means things are not yet ready to photograph. That said, the blem was 2 very small nicks in the metallic red finish right under the battery cap...

Was this one of the "Blem's"? If so, what was the blemish?

I believe the blemish was that I had to spend $50 in accessories to make a $30 mod work.

Seriously though, I just went over it with a magnifying glass and a bright light and I'll be danged if I can find anything wrong with it.

 Too funny!
That's cool that you couldn't find the blem. I looked and these and looked at these and almost hit the "buy" button but I already have 4 Provari's that are collecting dust because I can't subohm with them. <sigh>

I've yet to find the blemish on my new green Provari. Unless you count that the button doesn't light up...maybe that's the blemish? There certainly isn't any other visible one!

OK, so you provari experienca, I have a question for you. If I check the resistance of my atomizer, or battery level or what ever, it will read my resistance etc. and then fires the atomizer for about three seconds. Is this a normal function of the Provari? It's kind of annoying. Probably not long enough to scorch the wick or any thing but still it is unnecessary and seems like a silly feature/issue.

Appears to be normal. Here's a link to the manual...

They are designed to do that , to test the battery and resistance under load. Make sure you prime any cotton coils with e-liquid before testing them, it can scorch the cotton if it's dry.

You button should light up, if it doesn't then that is a functional defect, not a blem. Blem's are supposed to be 100% functional. Did you check to see if the led is turned off. Press the button 15 times and you will see Lo...wait and then On or Of should appear. If it's On and you get no light, they will fix or replace the device.

If I were looking to upgrade from Ego batteries or an MVP2 now, I would probably still buy a 30w or 40w iStick.

The only other mod that I would consider with internal battery would be the Coolfire IV Plus (had one, sold it unopened). I have a Coolfire IV but I don't like it as much as my 20w iSticks.

If I wanted a replaceable battery, I would probably pick the Heatvape Defender 50w (have two in my vapocalypse box).
