That's funny. I just saw another anti-Provari thread pop-up yesterday. It's going as they all go... down hill.

cool gif, kent (I'm stealing it.). And hello, my friend... and to all.

More on topic, I am looking for a smallish mod that can handle a sub-ohm tank that measures, I think, 23mm. Any ideas from the guru's of little itty bitty mods?

Depends on whether you want TC or not; built-in LiPo or replaceable 18650. The 50W Defender is popular around these parts, as is the VTC Mini. The Presas are also spoken of very fondly. A 23mm atty will overhang by 1/2 a mm on most of the itty bitties.

Good! I'll take this opportunity to 'update' my topbox experience. Once again, the 'topbox' tank began to leak after about two weeks :- ( .... which is part of my interest in your wanting "just the mod/not the tank' - I'll likely not be getting any more soon - I still have subox mods not used and three others :- ) ... in use. I LOVED the top fill, but now I have all GS Air M (MS on one, Tank on another) in use. One emow still going as well. But no subtanks or now the toptank..... I was also getting the 'juice in the mouth' from the toptank - hard on the taste buds :grr:

But have never had that with the GS Airs and they are leak free. The coils even last longer than the kangers. Only thing I don't like is filling them - I've seen some 'fixes' - taking a drivel tool to them, but haven't done that .... yet. lol
The only tanks I use now are the GS Air Ms and the Cero Tank. I do have the regular GS Air tanks...but really don't care for them as much as I do the GS Air M. I never have any trouble filling the tanks...but then, I do use a "needle top" bottle. Easy peasey.

Thank, Gerry! That's great.

Here's one I meant to post long ago, but it got lost in Kat Tab Shuffle. <too many tabs, not enuf time>

10 Tips for Flavour-Chasing Vapers

I'll post it in the TPuffs, too.
I'm stealing your Flavor Chasing info, Kat. I'd like to share with my friends on the Juice Junkies thread. Thank you for posting it!

Love this, Kent!!

Mr. Sgt. Pepper, this is NOT an anti-Provi thread, not by any stretch of the imaginings. When I first started this thread, Provape certainly didn't fit our mutually agreed upon designation of "under a 100 bucks", but now, with Provaris flying off the shelves for 30 dollahs, they are definitely part of our collection!

I like 'em. Yes, I do!

So do I. I got one when they first came out on 2010. Sadly, they sit in a dark drawer today. Heck, I can't even sell them now with Provape selling them for so cheap. I'm saving my blue one with the blue l.e.d. for the Vaping Hall of Fame.:D

Thanks for the suggestions, people, on some itty bitties... I got slapped the last time I said that. j/k

the new Melo III is kinda a cross between the GS air tanks and the ego one TRON tanks

top fill, hidden air, aspire style coils, UK 2ml capacity, total tear down glass...

;)

Good to know. Do they take GS Air coils? I could check lol.... IF kanger would put the AFC on top like some have, I'd be a customer - the Subox and Topbox look so much better with the color co-ordination, but I go for function over looks lol....

I like the Kanger Topbox batt... but the sub-ohm tank of your choosing. See my post to SS stingray last page:

Little itty bitty mods under $100.

Topbox is an upgrade from the Subox - 75W, TC, spring loaded center pin, bigger screen, But... same size. So like alden says - depends on what features you want. The Joyetech VTC would be a good choice if you don't mind the squared off design. I like the rounded corners of the Kanger mods.

Kent, promise me you won't go shopping in my shoe closet. It won't be a pretty site for your feet. ;)

I'm not really worried about a lot of features. I already have one with all of the features I need: yihi sx mini m class (and I'm not even using the tc anymore because I don't trust nickel). I just want something to have while I'm in florida for 2 months. I'll be going out a lot and the sx mini is heavy and I want something I can afford to lose... in case Pepper partakes in too many adult beverages.:?: Thanks, it looks like it can do the job and I won't feel too bad if I "misplace" it.:)

I didn't see where it mentioned stainless. That's something I would feel more comfortable using.

thanks, pufZ. I did make it over to youtube and watched a video or 2. Very nice for the price point. I think I'm in.:) And now, one more thing to buy: stainless steel wire. I hadn't bought any vaping gear for almost a year... and now I can't stop.
