Until I heard smoant had something to do with Clouper. I was totally turned off once I heard this. I have never heard anything positive about Clouper, but that just may be me?

Love my Cloupor mini+ and I have never heard people talk bad of it.

I concur with Capt. The last complaints I heard about Cloupor was for the original mini and only about its inability to step down voltage. I have my eye on this one.

Have two of the Cloupor Mini 30s in daily use, two more and the later TC model in the stash box.

Yes, the first release of the Mini 30 had some problems with the on-board (USB) charging. Unlike may other outfits, they were fast to acknowledge and fix the problem. They didn't try to blame the user, which is what so many do... That kind of response to a problem led me to my first.

Great little mod, imo.

"Funny" how if a first release of, well, anything, has problems, it can stain the reputation for ever. Well, maybe not so funny, as you never get a second chance to make a first impression.

For me, the outfit's response is key. If they try to avoid or shift blame, I'm off the bus. But if they're up front and responsible about it, I'm often willing to look again. Seems many who googlefu the Mini see the problem, but not what Cloupor did in response, and the infamy lives on....

And I might have been perfectly happy with the first release since one of my reasons for replaceable battery mods is to NOT use onboard charging!

True! I heard some of them caught on fire, or blew up. It was enough for me to look the other way with so many options out there. I tend to update my vaping gear once a year or longer. I'm in that "once a year" mode and I can't stop buying: I'll get over it soon.:D

You had to show me up, didn't you? Cool, I've been meaning to get down there for about 10 years, but something always comes up.

I've been meaning to get there sooner too. It took one of my best friends getting married there to get me off my ....! Something about a tropical island and topless no less, sounds rather appealing! :)
